Ivy has been a high quality level restaurant for years. It may have been an off night, but our experience was disappointing. Our waitress did her best, but the food was at best unremarkable. The pasta dishes were not very impressive. The pork tenderloin was beyond well done, but the sauce was very good. Our Caesar salads were on par with a bag salad version loads of croutons on romaine at $7 each. The building is in an old church. Beautiful decor and comfortable seating. (Odd to find a sticky shot glass on the shelf next to our table.) When large groups come, in the noise level is unpleasant. I hope they haven't focused so much on the outdoor tents and bar area, but that is how it feels.

We celebrated a milestone birthday and were not disappointed. Food was good and the prices seemed reasonable. Our little room was a bit noisy but it quieted down after another table left.

This is the first time I have been to dinner under the street tent with Ivy, and the experience was underwhelming. Service was slow, and the salmon that two of us ordered for dinner was quite dry, like it had been sitting under the lights for a while. Generally, I have enjoyed both the atmosphere and food at Ivy, but I would not return there for dinner under the tent again. Very disappointed.

Very pleasant server, as attentive as could be given we were sitting outside on the patio one of our favorite places to do so. Food was pretty good. My filet mignon was not cooked as requested. The crab cakes appetizer was tasty though a bit delayed in receiving. Be aware they allow dogs on the patio - one table had three and an occasional bark was heard.

The room is beautiful and the waitress was great when she was at the table, but long absences. The food mostly had delicious flavor but the carpaccio was tough to cut and tough to chew. Very thick pieces…a bit unusual but that in itself was not the issue. The ribeye had huge clumps of fat…not marbling…and the manager whisked my plate away after I asked the waitress if she thought it was excessive fat (she agreed). The manager then told waitress to offer me a dessert. At $56/steak I thought her handling of it was unprofessional and inadequate. We spent close to $400 there. The risotto also had a layer of oil around its bottom…not appetizing. Not the scallops on it were very good. Bottom line…we unfortunately won’t be going back to Ivy. I was disappointed as we’ve heard good things about it and I love the building.

Great place, food and wine excellent. Service was great and friendly from bus boys to service. Reasonable pricing given quality. Will return at least a few times a year.

Third time at Ivy and it was fantastic yet again! The carpaccio, lamb chops, drinks, and service are wonderful! We love the look of the restaurant and have a wonderful time each time.

Well this was a huge letdown! Looks certainly can be deceiving. The server was absentminded. She floated around aimlessly as we tried to get her attention to place our order. We only had bread no apps so we expected to put in our order at a nonbusy almost empty restaurant at 3:40. We were starving mind you. She messed up drink refills after flagging her down to get them she assumed they were diet for my 2 teens - so weird. She was very flighty so we couldn't stop her before she was off! The food was room temp after waiting a long while in an empty place between dinner. The meals were underwhelming and lacked flavor and chicken was rubbery and undercooked. Did not taste like boubon but more teriyaki flavored and not hot when served. Overall, the old church was beautiful, music was nice but service and staff were definitely not friendly or warm and food was bland and cold and way overpriced at $200 for mediocre, unfresh, undercooked meals. Tbh, our server was not really keen to be there.
