Great restaurant. Reservation tonight 615 for BD party. Had Brie and Capresse appetizers. Excellent. Main dishes double cut pork chop , seared tuna, trio filets and 20 ounce rib eye. All perfect. Sides mushrooms, mash potatoes and asparagus. Delicious. Highly recommend .

The resteraunt is beautiful but the food quality is just not what it used to be we paid 95.00 each my salad was missing crotons, the NY steak was very chewy and my filet mignon tasted like it was just sitting in bbq sauce the meat itself has no flavor

My wife and I along with our two daughters went for their Mother's day brunch. The menu was excellent (both adult and kids versions). We enjoyed the food (and ocean view) very much.

We enjoyed lunch experience at Island Prime, ambiance was very nice, the views are amazing! We had the Mothers Day Menu, the food was good however we did have a couple of issues with the Lobster Bisque and the Tuna entree. The Bisque was good but not very creamy and its was separating, the Tuna Steak was very tough and lacked flavor. The desserts were great and we enjoyed our over all experience except for the 5% surcharge on your total bill. I would encourage the owners to reflect that in the menu prices rather than gouge you on the over all bill, I’d have more for the owners. I will say they are upfront about it at least. Thankfully this will not be an issue after July 1st.

It was the best Mother's Day ever! The food, service, view, ambiance, decor, everything was perfect! I'm totally impressed and recommend everyone to go and experience Island Prime.

They sat us by the doors which were open and it was pretty cold during our whole dinner service but the did is always good and we got to meet the chef so that was a nice anniversary surprise

This was the 3rd time dining in the last 2 months where they were out of the bottles of wines that I picked. Management admitted that their at system of inventory is broken and has been broken for a while. For an expensive meal, there is absolutely no excuse for that. They suggested an alternative to what I had ordered and it was terrible. Everything else was good

The food was good. Steaks were cooked as ordered and were delicious. The service was like whatever, I can’t say it was outstanding but it wasn’t completely horrible either. The views and ambience were amazing, which alone makes this restaurant super nice. I had chef Deb’s pepita crusted Brie as an appetizer, which is always tasty, however I prefer to have it with crostini rather than pita bread. Overall it was a nice evening out at Island Prime.

Beautiful view of harbor, even saw seals feeding. Service is perfectly attentive and timed. Food is delicious. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend Island Prime.

WOW!! Blown away with everything we ordered, the service team from the hostess to the food delivery team were so friendly and attentive. The view of the harbor was stunning. I didn't get to take too many pictures, which is a true sign of how good the food was. If you're ever in the San Diego area, go check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Nice view, okay food. Terrible service. Kept waiting 30 mins for our reserved table - then another 45 minutes before we got our first drinks. Server way too familiar and casual for what’s supposed to be a nice restaurant. Don’t risk your special night out to this place - you will regret it as we did.

Decor is very nice, with a great view of the bay. Food was delicious and prepared as ordered. The service was attentive and pleasant. We were never rushed. A very pleasant experience. We definitely will go again.

Can't beat the ambiance here. They gave us a table near a window and the view of the harbor was beautiful. All the staff was cordial upon our arrival. Our server was very attentive and explained the menu. When they asked us if there was an occasion we told them we had an anniversary recently. They surprised us by bringing a flourless chocolate cake. We picked this place because we just got off the plane from Maui and it was close to the airport. We will be back here. Highly recommend.

Very nice place. Filet trio was amazing. Brought my wife for our 5 year anniversary. They made sure I got the window table I asked for. The view of the city at night was awesome.

The waiter, Enrique, was a wonderful tableside manner. The woman who brought out the bread and boxed our food was one of the most pleasant food industry workers I've experienced.

We had an excellent table by the windows and the view is amazing. Oysters were excellent east coast varieties and very fresh. I felt the drinks were pretty weak. Service was ok, but not great, ran out of water a few times and seemed like there were long gaps between seeing the server. Otherwise the food was excellent and we would come here again.

We were hosting an after wedding dinner for 8 guests, and could not have been more pleased. The Gen. Mgr, Michael, was so helpful before last night and the manager on duty last night ( I am so sorry I have forgotten her name!) as well as our sever, Tony just went above and beyond my hopes. Wonderful table ( thank you, thank you), fast delivery of our champagne and appetizers, and they were on top of everything all evening long. It was amazing and we were all so happy… the grooms side (my side) was trying to provide a lovely night for the Canadian brides’ family and you did it! Food was wonderful and impressive, but it was the ambiance and service that really made us smile. We are very grateful.

This was the best dinner my family and I ever had! Tony was our server and he was so helpful with any questions we had on the menu and very great recommendations! We ordered so much food! Mac and cheese, baked potato, mushrooms, twice baked potato, crispy brussel sprouts, filet mignon trio, New York strip, and still even more! Every thing was incredible, melt in your mouth! We also had the best table in the house! Corner window table with a beautiful view! It got a little chilly so bring a jacket! we celebrated my birthday and got a special little dessert as well as the mud pie and pineapple upside down. The absolute best restaurant I have EVER been to. Will definitely be coming back!
