What a great experience!Our waiter was so funny and welcoming.The food was excellent ! The steak and the pizza were delicious ! Great location looking out onto 8th Ave and restaurant has a really cool vibe.Feels like you are in Italy.Best place I’ve been after seeing a Broadway show.Will definitely be back

The food was pretty good, and the prices were reasonable. But for us the experience was completely ruined by horrible music, played at deafening volume. We won't be back.

Lovely lunch with my friend before we went to see The Notebook on Broadway. This restaurant is very close to the heart of Broadway shows. I loved my salad with grilled chicken. My friend loved her pasta with sauce. We liked the warm bread and it’s butter. Great service!

How is this place still open? Its like a 10 year old making noodles and flatbread in the back. There are fast food options that are better

Service was good and our waiter was very helpful when asked for recommendations! The food over all was pretty food. I got the penne a la vodka was tasty, but the sauce was a little on the sweet side for personal preference. That being said the tiramisu was out of this world! The over all vibe of the restaurant was great! I would definitely recommend!

Food was not good at all. Extremely over salted…had the chicken parm, cutlets were not pounded and tasted like it was prepackaged frozen patties. First “Italian” I’ve ever been to that had Cabernet as their house red!!

Absolutely AMAZING! Our waiter was top notch and had such personality. Food was outstanding. Felt like a real Italian village experience.

Food was very good. Staff was okay . They were not very friendly or attentive . Waited a while for someone to come back over when we sat down, and again after dinner was served to see if we needed anything else and get the check. They are located on 8th and 45 th, so it’s very busy when the shows get out. Given their location, I would think they would be prepared for that. I will probably walk down towards 9th ave next time after a show . The restaurants in that direction are less crowded and much more attentive to the customers .

Waitstaff was nice and friendly but made a few mistakes with our order. Food was mediocre. Overdressed salad, salmon over salted, too much sauce on pasta, tough chicken. Tables on top of each other. Sadly won’t return.

Loved this little Italian restaurant! We had planned on another place, but ended up here when that fell through. Service and food were wonderful- we were lucky to find this spot before our broadway show!

Decent 3-course prix fixe meal. Soup was delicious. Huge portion of risotto. Excellent cheesecake. Very crowded and waiters were distracted. But a good value overall.

Service was good. Prix fixe dinner was limited but price for NYC was great! Salad was good entree( chicken marsala ) was bland… dessert not good tiramisu and key lime pie…

Food was scrumptious, place was lovely, our waiter was delightfully entertaining and the vibe was joyful. We’ll be back, especially if we have tickets to the Al Hirschfeld theatre again, which was right around the corner :)

This is perfect old school Italian. The bolognese was hardy and with perfect flavor. The vodka sauce was very good. Get he bruschetta to start . You won’t be disappointed. Coming back on each NYC visit. See you in August! Almost forgot, while the hostess was a bit tentative with her greeting the waitstaff was very friendly, had great recommendations, just enough conversation and always with a smile!

Arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us immediately. Food was good but not outstanding. Location was excellent down the block from many broadway shows. Clean bathroom which tells a lot about a restaurant. Would recommend and go again.

Service was great, location perfect for pre-Broadway dinner, ambience was nice for dinner with my daughter. My chicken Marsala was very good. My daughter said her Alfredo was a little bland.

It was the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. The whole evening brought me back to when I lived in Italy. The food is amazing. The service is excellent. The owner truly cares about every customer. The prices were shockingly low for NYC. I am so happy our first choice was full up and we found this gem. I am sad I do not live close enough to become a regular. I can not say enough good things about this wonderful establishment.

This was a typical convenient after theatre Italian restaurant. Service was good. Small pizzette large enough for two. Burretta with salad was very good.

It is very loud and cramped. The service is attentive but too fast. The food was mediocre. It had little seasoning and at 6pm they were out of the catch of the day. My pasta needed loads of pepper and cheese to flavor it.
