Excellent freshly prepared food. If I’m being over critical, the veal chop was overcooked compared to what we ordered and was a lot of fat. The ambiance was absolutely lovely and the sommelier was very helpful. Tableside prepared dessert was very special! We were however celebrating our engagement and they did not do anything special for us.

Lovely experience and one of the best restaurants in the area by a landslide. Incredible winelist. Authentically engaged and attentive service. Well composed and flavorful food. Sure it’s a little pricier than some neighboring restaurants. It’s also the only one in our area that delivers on a first class level. Great team of professionals, friendly and attentive management. Beautiful decor. Come for a special occasion or an unforgettable evening.

After being here a number of times, it is safe to say you can blindly order something random on the menu and it will be fantastic. Great for a weekly date night, business lunch/dinner, it is for sure a place to impress your guests! As a restauranteur myself, Il Capriccio is the Gold standard in everything they do from their fresh food, professional service, and even a warm and genuine greeting. Really, nothing comes close.

This restaurant is hands down one of the best in NJ. If you have never been, it is a MUST try! From the moment you pull up, you feel the hospitality. The service is top notch and the food is amazing!

Disappointing experience- Was so excited to return after a while and was surprised an aesthetically beautiful restaurant was underwhelming with food and service. Not that busy for dinner but waited literally 30m to order our meal, had an empty drink without reorder for about 15m with no concern, and felt like an aside for a $200+ meal for 2 people. Will not return - so many better options in NJ for great Italian

I love this restaurant and am a regular customer however I was VERY DISAPPOINTED last night when they had the entire bar and lounge area closed for a.”Private Party”. I had guests with me and had planned to relax a bit before dinner. Instead, there was no place to go but immediately to the table. Someone should have advised me when I made the dinner reservation. Also I have noticed that the dress code has really been diminished. Jeans and t shirts are now apparently acceptable. The code calls for jackets for men. There were only a handful last night . I hope it was a one off problem and not the dumbing down of a former classy upscale Venue.

Definitely a 5 star experience! My first time after hearing from friends how special this place is. Loved it! First Class Traditional Italian Food. Service was Excellent! Shocked how busy it was on a Tuesday, however it was a week before Xmas! Beautiful inside! A must to try especially for that special occasion. You won’t be disappointed!
