Il Cantinori, situé à Greenwich Village, a été à l'avant-garde de la cuisine toscane à New York depuis son ouverture en 1983. Cette ancienne ferme dotée d'une chaleur rustique, de murs en stuc, poutres apparentes et arrangements floraux volumineux offre une ambiance romantique et élégante. Le restaurant combine les saveurs traditionnelles uniques de la campagne toscane avec un menu complet de saison, pour le dîner et le souper. The restaurant was lovely and the waitstaff was excellent, good variety on the menu u and everything we had was delicious. Perfect dinner in New York!

By far my favorite restaurant. The ambience is glorious. The food is perfection. The wait staff is so on point. I love Il Cantinori.

Salad of beets and walnut bland. Waiter haughty and dismissive. Wine recommended was fine, entrees disappointing. Pesto promised but not evident in vongole. Tomato appetizer good.

Horrible. Over crowded added tables so we were cramped and cldnt even move. Service was awful and food was mediocre. Waited hour and half for food.

Il Cantinori is a staple in my family's line up. It is wonderful every single time we dine there. We would go monthly if we could.

Had a lovely table in the front room on a warm Spring evening. Pesto starter was marvelous, and the new scallop and fresh spinach main is a winner - absolutely superb. Staff remains the best in the Village. Good to see Frank again; he takes such good care of everyone; very attentive.
