Hy's warm resort-style and central location is second to none for private dining. Our stunning restaurant can play host for any occasion, from the most formal reception to the most casual get together. We can comfortably accommodate up to 18 in a semi-private dining room, but arrangements can be also be made for parties from 60-120 in semi-private areas of the restaurant, or in some cases, full restaurant buy-outs. What an experience. My wife and I made mid week reservations at Hy's for our 20th Anniversary dinner in Whistler Village. From the moment we walked in, it was obvious that this was a high end eating establishment. We were treated like VIPs for the whole duration of the dinner. The service was impressive, from the caesar salad being made at the table, to the perfect amount of service without interrupting our experience. The steaks were absolutely spectacular. I'd tell you what we ordered and how good it was but I bet it won't make a difference. I can't imagine ordering anything and not being absolutely blown away. Having said that, the four course dinner would probably be a great bet for an overall amazing dinner at the most reasonable price. If you have the money to splurge on an amazing dinner with a once in a lifetime service, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing meal! Superb steaks and sides! The crispy sprouts are a must! Thank you to our waiter Brian and also the sommelier for an excellent and unique wine recommendation - paired perfectly with the steaks. Thank you!

娘との旅行で使用しました。スタッフの対応も良く、フレンドリーでゆっくりステーキを楽しむことが出来ました。娘曰く、今回の旅行でここのフィレステーキが1番美味しかったとのこと。日本より霜降り部分は少ないものの、柔らかくジュシーでした。アスパラガスのスープも美味しかったです。日本人のスタッフも居て、気軽に話しかけてくださいましたよ。 $1=¥160近くだったので高く感じますが、そこは為替によるところがあるのコスパはなんとも…と言う感じです。

I love Hy’s restaurant in Vancouver and Calgary. Food was absolutely delicious but here in Whistler the food is not even close in terms of quality and flavor. Going down the list my iced tea was awful, my filet was overcooked and my replacement filet was flavorless. Even the side dishes were lacking flavor. My creamed corn was just a bowl of corn with some salt. Service and atmosphere was outstanding. My steak was comped which was very nice and unexpected. I don’t know if I had an inexperienced chef or the quality in Whistler is lacking. I expected more from this quality steakhouse.

Wonderful meal, wonderful service, and wonderful moments shared tonight at Hy’s. Our server was funny and prompt w our order and food. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back!

The best cheese bread ever! Oysters Rockefeller are delicious and big. The meat is amazing ando perfectly cooked. Key Lime pie is one of our favorite.

Solid. Everything about Hy’s is pretty solid. Been here a couple times. Will return. Good food, typical steak house options. Servers are friendly and helpful. Wine selection extensive.

We dine here every year on an annual ski trip. While each year is great, this year was exceptional. During the pandemic, many places got a bit lax in the experience but Hy’s seized the opportunity and delivered an amazing experience. Our server Samantha (we still miss Victoria, but Samantha is great) was equal parts engaging and orchestrator. The dinner moved at pace without feeling at all rushed - courses were expertly timed and coordinated by Samantha. The managers assisted with wine delivery - and the whole team worked together to ensure no glass was left empty and every member of our party was tended to. Incredible team effort and an exceptional experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

Restaurant très bruyant tables très rapprochées, impossible de tenir une conversation les préparations à table comme les flambages se font beaucoup trop près des tables avoisinantes Repas ok mais sans plus Dans l ensemble on s attendait à mieux

A good steakhouse should have good bread, great drinks, and great sides. Steak is steak, either prime or choice. That’s the difference the bread, the drinks and the sides were disappointing.

This Hys does not compare to the Hys in Vancouver. For the price that you pay you would expect a lot more. We went here for an occasion and were underwhelmed.
