The Homefire Grill features an open kitchen concept with the best in rotisserie and fire-roasted oven equipment. The restaurant seats 120 people with plenty of booth seating and the lounge seats 60.

overall it was good. Food was tasty. Only problem I found was service was a little slow coming to the table and the waitress brought the wrong wine that we had ordered.

We had the bison spring rolls with a Saskatoon sauce dip. Excellent flavour and quite large in size. Husband had the bison meatloaf for his entree. He enjoyed it. Lots of flavour and the portions were large. I had the elk lasagna and it was delicious! So much flavour and large in portion size. Definitely will return again. We found the prices were great and the service was excellent.

This is one of our "go to" restaurants. Great food, good value, service, and ambience. Our waiter was fantastic and very patient as we were busy talking and not making decisions quickly. 3 of the 4 meals were fantastic, 1 was not as good as it could have been mainly because the steak on the steak salad had a fair bit of gristle in it.

Our server Susan was great. Food was amazing and over all a great experience. I wouldn’t say the bannock is like kokum’s, but we ate the whole basket so that’s saying something. Would totally eat here again!

The bison burger was one of the best I have ever had. Beautifully presented with fries, coleslaw, Saskatoon berry sauce and all the trimmings. Superb service with no pressure to hurry through our meal. Will definitely be going back.

We have been to HG several times and expected better. A decent steak but covered in gravy? The veggies and mashed potatos were cold. I have never had coleslaw that was noticeably bland. How do you do that? No flavor, only texture. There are far too many choices on good places to eat. This was the last time for us. The quality has definately taken a dive.

We have been to this place several times and have never had bad service or food. Amazing atmosphere and a warm cozy place to have a meal. I would recommend this restaurant.

Very busy on a Family day, but since we had a reservation we were seated right away. The place was filled to capacity. Our server came quickly and took our drink order and was back right away with drinks and to take our menu order. Food was great. My wife had the chicken cordon bleu and I had the New York steak. Both meals were very good. Love the Bannock bread and maple butter appetizer.

As always, Homefire Grill was a wonderful experience. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely (not too bright/dark), the service is quick and friendly, and on and on. I love coming here and I hope they stay open for many years.

A very relaxed atmosphere and always great food. Service is always great however we felt a bit rushed on Valentine’s Day. Would love to see the menu change up a bit as we frequent Homefire.

Susanne (sp?), our server, was so kind, efficient, and helpful. Her recommendation on wine was well received and our meals were all excellent. We shared the bison Spring Rolls and New Orleans Skillet - WOW! I had the bison burger and my husband had the Seafood Mornay. Both meals were fantastic. I had the Seafood Mornay before and the chefs were so kind to exclude the salmon and add extra of the others for my personal preference. For Dessert, we had the Island Delight. Highly recommend. We left full, but not stuffed and a little take home bag. :) We definitely will be back.

We’ve been fans of Homefire Grill for years. That’s probably why we were so disappointed this time. My food was cold and not cooked as ordered. My partner’s salad was just awful. A few pieces of lettuce a couple olives, a piece of onion and a bit of feta. We sent it all back. Next time was better but not up to the old standards. Will not be going back.

Excellent meal , my wife had salmon bowl and said it was the best one she ever had. I had Chicken Parmasan special and it was very good. Bannock Bread Pudding excellent as well . Worth a visit if you are on west side of Edmonton

Visited for a friend's birthday. We had the Bannock and spring rolls to start. For the main I had the salmon Greek salad. The food was delicious!!! The service was great. I will definitely go back. I strongly recommend Home fire Grill

The Elk Lasagna was heavy on the meat and light on the pasta. Making it more like traditional lasagna should lower the cost of that dish. The Crème Brûlée was still cold below the surface. I think it is supposed to be on the warm side. Other than those two minor issues everything was great. The staff seemed very engaged in the process and proud of the product. This is a sign of great management.

This was my second time eating at the Homefire Grill. The indigenous food options are tasty and a flavour treat. The staff was excellent and very patient as we waited for a number of our party to show up. It was the first visit for the rest of the group, and they loved the fireplace, the atmosphere overall, and really enjoyed their food. A great experience, overall, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Four of us went and have been several times. The food for three of us was great but one ordered the stir fry and it got mixed up with stew. Meal came corrected and late but was not as good as hoped. Service excellent so only that one meal problem.
