Hiro 88 is an up-scale Pan-Asian restaurant in Omaha's Old Market. Serving some of Omaha's best sushi along with award winning Chinese food we have something for everyone's palate. We offer an extensive selection of sake, wine, beer and liquor.
We can accommodate up to 25 diners in our private room and have experience with events ranging from rehearsal dinners to pharmaceutical presentations.
In addition to our dining room and lounge we also have two large patios. Both Patios have full dinner and drink service. We also have Happy Hours Monday-Friday 3pm to 630pm, and Saturday 3pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Friday and Saturday 10pm to Close and all day Sunday!!!
For groups of 8 or more we do add 20% gratuity to the check. Please specify if you will need separate checks, have children that will require a highchair, if a high top table will be acceptable, or if any guests in your party has dietary restrictions that we need to be made aware of.

We do offer off-site catering. We need at least 24 hours notice. A delivery fee of $15.00 applies as well as a minimum of 15 entrees (for delivery). For groups of smaller size, arrangements can be made for the order to be picked up. All dishes from Chinese to Sushi platters are available for catering.

Our private dining area seats up to 25 diners. We have an 80" projection screen. All other audio visual equipment must be provided by the customer. The room has separate climate, lighting, and audio controls to create the perfect ambiance for your special event.

Being slightly off of the main streets of the Old Market, parking is more accessible than in our surrounding areas. We have a good amount of metered parking in front of our building. Weekday parking isn't typically an issue. We do suggest allowing additional time during weekends to acquire parking.

It was excellent. Portions were much large than usual pan- Asian places, and food was great. Pricing is comparable. A new go to place in Omaha

Always a favorite of ours in the Old Market. Fresh sushi, great drinks and great staff. Would highly recommend!

I didn't realize mid day happy hour was until 630pm, so we got to get in on that and justified being able to order a ton more food due to the great deals! The Miso soup was amazing. Everything was amazing! Appreciated being able to make a midweek reservation for 5 without issue unlike that other Sushi place that rhymes with "Shoe" :) Hiro 88 is my new go to Sushi retaurant in Omaha.

The online menu reflected significantly fewer items than the 3 page (double-sided) printed menu at the restaurant. Only 1 -3 page (doubled-sided) set of the printed menu was delivered to our table of 4. We were told that was the policy. The online prices were significantly different than the printed prices. We were told they had recently changed. (The website has since been updated with the price increases). The food left much to be desired, with all of us leaving disappointed. My miso soup had an unusual and odd flavor, and my teriyaki salmon was very dry, with a slight burnt flavor. One person in my party left over half of his shrimp tempura because it “just didn’t taste right”. Needless to say, we were all to polite to speak up, and we did all agree that we will not be returning to (nor recommending) HIRO 88.

Both salmon dishes were significantly over cooked making both flavorless. Our server offered a replacement but because we were off tho the theater there wasn’t time to wait for another salmon plank to be prepared. While the service was top drawer this meal was well below the quality we’ve come to expect from HIRO.

Listen, I have to give a shout out to the staff that worked the evening of March 13th! It’s not easy when there’s an event in downtown Omaha and I think half the people attending Olivia Rodrigo were here. lol Our server was phenomenal! I didn’t get her name, but as I looked around every staff member there was running their tail off to get orders and food out. I noticed a large group of “Karen’s” behind my table complaining and it wasn’t deserved. It’s a shame that people can’t read the room and have a little patience during large events or busy restaurant times. Great job Hiro 88!!

Went to Hiro before show at Orpheum. Last time we tried this was crazy and we barely made it to our seats before showtime. This was a much better experience. Food arrived quickly and cooked perfectly. We had time for a leisurely dinner and conversation.

Oh my gosh- loved the mesquite, cedar plank salmon!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Apple/cucumber side was a refreshing touch. Portion size was generous! Loved it soooo much! My husband doesn’t like salmon but LOVED it too!
