Ouvert depuis octobre 2007 et occupant un site qui était autrefois une boucherie victorienne, le Hereford Road propose une cuisine britannique simple et novatrice. Tom Pemberton, l'ancien chef cuisinier du St. John Bread and Wine, utilise les meilleurs ingrédients du pays, selon les saisons. La provenance de la viande, du poisson et des légumes est au centre de ses préoccupations. Le Hereford Road vise à être un véritable restaurant de proximité dans le quartier résidentiel de Notting Hill Gate. Il vaut également le détour pour les personnes de l'extérieur qui apprécient une excellente cuisine. Le personnel amical et compétent présente le menu qui change tous les jours. Celui-ci met en valeur avec brio les produits britanniques, à des prix raisonnables.

This was my third visit to Hereford, and I enjoyed it again. All the dishes were tasty, accompanied by garnishes that complemented the main food very well. Bravo to the chef once more! Also, it is fantastic that we can dine without unwanted background music—another very positive point! I do hope Hereford will continue maintaining this quality at reasonable prices, which is very important. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent food. Literally everything we ordered was good. But I thought the service was a bit slow and inattentive. For example, we were among the first tables to sit down when they opened for dinner, but other tables that came in later got served food before we did. Everything was still good, docking a star for service and value.

My partner and I love it here; we come at every special occasion. Incredible food, fantastic wine, perfect service and all for a considerably very reasonable price

I'm a regular at Hereford Road, especially because of the wonderful value set lunch on Friday and Saturday. Impeccable all round. Great simple fresh food.

Hereford road used to be our local, sadly we’ve moved to the other side of town. Having not been for a while we booked to go with friends for Saturday lunch. I honestly don’t know how they maintain such high standards for the food, wine and service. They never seem to falter and it really is still one of our top favourite restaurants to go to. A lot of our friends go there too and just adore it.
