Our server was amazing. Very helpful with choosing menu options and made my birthday celebration amazing. Food was outstanding!!

Hennen’s is one of the best seafood and steak restaurants in town. The staff and their service is impeccable, very willing to discuss options and meet the needs of customers.

It turned out that they had several very large and loud groups present last night. Staff immediately reacted to our concerns and made sure we were given a booth in a quiet area. Food was outstanding and staff returned several times to make sure everything was good for us, given our earlier frustration. Can’t be more pleased with staff’s handling of our situation.

We chose Hennen’s for our anniversary dinner during a weekend getaway in Chattanooga, based on the number of good reviews. Our table was ready immediately upon arrival, then we waited for about 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. It was another 30 minutes before the drinks came, long enough for one to become watered down due to melted ice (the wine was fine :). The food came out when expected and was very good. We ordered a dessert and another drink and the drink came after we had finished the dessert. Had our server come by we would have canceled the drink. Not sure if the delayed bar service was a problem at the bar or with our server. At best, the server was somewhat attentive during the entire meal; she was rather cool and not overly welcoming. We were seated at the front of the restaurant in front of the windows and the ambiance was pretty sterile, but maybe it is better further into the restaurant. Overall the dinner was just okay, with the food being the highlight, but due to the service we would probably choose another restaurant if we’re in Chattanooga again for a special occasion.

Waitress would barely stop at our table. Wife’s shrimp was tough and inedible. They forgot her baked potato until we were finally able to stop her to ask for it. Ended up sending her meal back. My steak was good with good quality meat. Restaurant was very noisy. Overall disappointing for an anniversary dinner. Would consider again for a normal meal but not for a special occasion.
