We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Service was great. Our server Jason went above and beyond to make our night special. The unexpected extras because it was our anniversary were so appreciated.

Our party arrived 15 minutes early but we were accommodated without having to wait for a table. The food was superb and the service was great.

Very noisy. Jake did his best to find us a quiet table but it still was difficult to hear. Service was slow. Food marginal. I have dined at Heminways many times over many years but this experience was not up to par.

It was a lovely and delicious lunch served by a very attentive and cordial young woman. Everyone was very nice, welcoming and pleasant.

Had a beautiful time the waiter made the experience great. His service was top-tier. The food was amazing. The ambience and the energy set the mood perfectly I had a really good time . Made the Mother’s Day experience.

Fabulous Mother's Day dinner -- I had Grilled Salmon and my wife had Scallops . Restaurant was hopping -- great energy level. Fabulous server and the Key Lime Pie was amazing.

Food quality and value was good, not great. My swordfish dinner was barely 6 oz. Service was very good and thank you for seating us on the "park window side". We did notice a very lax dress code as there were adults and children with hoodie's, sport logo jerseys, gym shorts, etc. You need to change the dress code to plain old casual. It was not business casual.

I made reservations for Mother’s Day weeks in advance and I was so glad I did. I had asked for a window seat facing the river and they kindly obliged. Our server, Danny, was great! Not just attentive and interesting but he also made us feel comfortable! My 10th wedding anniversary is coming up and I definitely plan on going to Hemenway’s again!

Hemenway's does just about everything right...the food was delicious,the service was fabulous and we had the pleasure of being seated facing the park.. a wonderful experience all around!

First of all, our server Robert was top-notch, he made excellent recommendations of menu items as we were first-time diners to the restaurant. We also had a connection with him being from the same area of the country as us. The Lobster bisque was delicious, Caesar salad crisp and tasty, crab cakes so fresh and good. The absolute best stuffed lobster! Finished with key lime pie and cheesecake that were just fantastic. Great wine pairing also. And did I mention we sat by the window with a lovely view of the river? Great experience for us. Thank you!

I haven’t been to Hemenways in about 5 years. It’s so clean, beautiful, friendly and the food and service were higher than any fine dining standards. 10.

Hemenway's remains on point after many years. Our table overlooked the river. I had a 3.5 lb fisherman lobster. Delicious. The oysters and clams were fresh and sweet. My companion had lobster tortelloni which were filled generously with a delicate pasta. I look forward to returning in the future.

Our first time at Hemenway’s and it was wonderful. Scallops were pan-seared to perfection as was the asparagus. Little necks were very fresh. Great service and ambience. We definitely will return. Joe and Eva Augusto

We live three hours away and I chose Hemenway's for lunch after my Master's graduation at JWU. I don't think it could have been any better. Our waiter, Josh, was knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and a true professional. Hostesses were engaging and welcoming when we arrived. Food was spectacular. My family and I discussed having to plan a weekend in Providence in the coming weeks just so we can return to Hemenway's! Thanks for a terrific memory! (BTW, the swordfish was excellent!)

Great service. My wife had a delicious entree that was on the menu. Delicious maitake mushrooms cooked Tempura. My dish was not quite as good. Seafood casserole was much too rich for me with tons of melted cheese and cream drowning the seafood. I would return but will be more selective and ask more questions about the food preparation.

I always enjoy my visits to Hemenway’s. This time I ordered baked stuffed lobster. I did not like the crumb topping on the lobster that was overpowering. I also noticed that the stuffing consisted of one scallop and 2 shrimp plus the lobster claws. The stuffing was not what I expected it to be. It was very dry. The rest of the meal as well as the service was great. The noise level was high.

We he’d the oysters and calamari for an appetizer followed by scallops rom my wife, filet for my son, and salmon with clams for myself. All excellent. We also had dessert and my wife mentioned that a dessert going by the table looked better than hers. The waiter bought one to the table for no change. Excellent night and very busy for a Monday.

Hemingway's is always a go to for a nice seafood dinner. Although you may wait a little while for your meal, you will not be sorry with the taste and quality that they deliver.
