We were at Havana Grill for brunch to celebrate Father’s Day. We asked to be seated by the window where there were 3 open tables. We were told we couldn’t sit there as they were reserved for 4 person reservations. The restaurant was half empty at this time and remained half empty for an hour. We were seated at a table with a fly apparatus. Since our table had a view into the kitchen area, we could see the door to the outside pool area was open which likely was the cause of the fly issue in the restaurant. Our waiter was quick to take our drink order but we waited about 30 min for our drinks. My husbands old fashioned was, oddly, delivered with a straw and without the traditional cherry and orange. We waited 50 minutes for our meal to be brought out. Considering the restaurant was never more than half full, we were disappointed with the long wait and poor service. I ordered a BLT with breakfast potatoes. The sandwich was good but the potatoes were cold and salty. My husband’s burger and side of fruit were good. Overall, not the experience I hoped my husband would have on his special day.

Most of the food was just okay. Waiter obviously wanted to hurry us out. He continuously made trips to the table to ask us if we were done so he could rush away with our plates. He ended up taking away my granddaughters food before she was done due to the confusion of his repeated trips to our table. We were seated inside but were constantly being bothered by flies. One ended up in my daughter’s glass of wine. The waiter did replace it with another glass of wine. Not a relaxing dinner if you are having to swat at flies.

I don’t usually write reviews on Open Table although I have been consistently booking here for many, many years. This was a honeymoon trip and my birthday dinner so we chose Havana Beach for our celebration. It was our first night in Rosemary and my wife’s first time in Rosemary so I chose what I thought would be the perfect place (I was there for a company event before and stayed at The Pearl). I’ll try to keep it short and not rant - the food and service were sub-par at best. You are obviously going to pay a premium in Rosemary for any dining experience. Havana Beach is located on what is likely the most prime piece of real estate so we knew what to expect. What we didn’t expect was one of the worst values and dining experiences during our week-long stay along the Gulf Coast. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The following night we dined at Cuvee 30A. MUCH better atmosphere, friendly service and everything we ordered was incredible. We enjoyed it so much we returned again for dinner our last evening in Rosemary. We will not return to Havana Beach.

Overall just ok. Our food (just me and my husband) took 45min to come out. We only ordered French toast and a salad so it felt like a long time for two dishes. There were lots of flies which made our dining experience uncomfortable. The service was regular. Our server took a long time to bring the check and take our card (about 25 min). The food was average, overpriced small portions which I can understand for a fancy area. I wouldn’t come back, nor would I recommend this restaurant.
