L'établissement Harwood Arms a rouvert ses portes en septembre 2008 après des travaux de rénovation nécessaires. Ce havre de paix rural situé au cœur de Fulham est né d'une collaboration entre Brett Graham du célèbre restaurant Ledbury, Mike Robinson du pub prisé Pot Kiln se trouvant dans le Berkshire rural et Edwin Vaux de la brasserie réputée Vaux. L'idée est de proposer aux Londoniens un lieu vraiment décontracté pour déguster les meilleurs produits britanniques dans des plats au goût inégalable, accompagnés d'une excellente bière et d'un verre de vin, le tout à un prix intéressant.

Went for the Sunday roast. I've been before, and it has been amazing. However, on this occasion, the roast was a little too overcooked. It was still enjoyable, and all the other dishes were outstanding. The service was also fantastic. It is a great gastropub and I will return where hopefully the temperature of the beef will be just right.

I wanted to love the restaurant as it is a 2min walk from our new place. We went in November had an okay experience but nothing special and went back last night. Service was actualky much better this time and the only thing we had to wait for was the bill. Atmosphere is cozy. However, I do not think that I will be back soon unless it is for a Sunday roast as my issue is the menu. Firstly, for a Michelin star place I would expect to see an amuse bouche or sth extra. Bread last time was better this time it was not warm and a nit chewy. Found the veggie menu to be unfairly priced at same rate as the meat one -35gbp for celeriac and mushroom main is too much. Potato crisps with truffle cream were not great at all-lacked taste and a few of them were very hard to chew on. Truffle cream had almost 0 truffle taste and was very heavy without it being very tasty and indulgent. Scotch egg was excellent though. The tartare of trout was surprisingly good but found the egg a bit unnecessary and again made it feel quite heavy. The pork main was just not my taste at all, beautiful presentation and main part of it was cooked perfectly but no one warns you that half of it is like cracklings etc which I do not eat. I find the menu limited and not really enticing options in my opinion. They feel more gourmet than actually tasty and comforting food. Garlic roasted potatoes were ok but lacked salt. Montjac was a very good main. Blood orange sorbet was offered upon request and tasted well. Price for main with dessert should be cheaper than for starter and main in my opinion

Enjoy the main course very much it was really delicious , but the starter a was desapuntes and also the desert was not eventful.

Unfortunately pretty poor service as experienced by a solo diner. Food overall good, however, starter was a huge fail for me. I wish I had not known this restaurant had a star before I visited- in one of the best cities in the world to dine in this was not, by any standard, a Michelin starred experience. Not worth a special trip.

Very expensive $176 US Dollars for two. No drinks, only tap water. Much better value available in US. Very nice Pub. Tyler was very helpful. Staff nice. Food quality good but lacked seasoning available in modern world. London is amazing but come to Texas for well seasoned food.

Booked Saturday lunch here. It was a warm sunny day but the room was pleasantly cool and it was very easy to hear the conversation at our table. All the food we were served was absolutely delicious and we were very well looked after. Plan to make this a more regular lunch destination with our friends from south of the river. Thank you.

Very nice atmosphere and food is a very nice traditional British style. Scottish eggs were outstanding as well as the trout tartare. Unfortunately, the iberico pork was a bit dry and dull.

We saw an add that stated Roast for 2 to share and it shows 3 course for £70. When thw bill came it was £158. We got a scotch egg and 2 coffees as well as meal. When asked about the cost they said it was the price per person. But if we were charged £70 per person, why only 1 starter and 1 pudding??? Food was good but not worth £158. ‘The Harwood Arms 2 Courses for £55 3 Courses for £70 Roast for 2 to Share Please ask your waiter about any dietary restrictions. We had the most wonderful anniversary. The Harwood Arms made it so special and the food was phenomenal. The portions were extremely generous and it also had a lovely atmosphere.

Happily recommend this restaurant after spending a lovely birthday evening here. Buzzy atmosphere, attentive but relaxed staff and really top notch food. Can't wait to come back with either family or friends.

The table was small, poorly located and wobbly. The cod's roe was uneatable and very heavy. The overall food experience was negative with respect with expectations. No real attention or care for the customer and my comment that the experience was the worst that I ever had (at this restaurant), passed totally unobserved. My son who had just arrived from America was not impressed at all. It s a shame because previous experiences were positive.

Have tried to book a table here for a while but am never organised enough to find a spot. Last night we got a last minute table and brought some very ‘discerning’ guests. We were all blown away by the quality of the food - intricate but unfussy flavours and a short but great menu. The service was lovely and friendly and we had some unexpected treats of nibbles and an extra pudding brought to the table. Top quality food in a comfortable, local ‘pub’. Very much hoping to eat here again during game season.

The best Sunday roast! Wonderful menu with a few roast options to choose from such as roast sirloin, pork belly and of course game meat. Kids menu was wonderful with a choice of either a perfect cut of roast beef or crispy fish, served with crunchy roast potatoes, cooked carrots and broccoli. Service was outstanding. Waiters/ waitresses came exactly on time without making us feel rushed. The team were kind enough to offer us our preferred table. Can’t wait to go back!!

This is dining full of flavour and intelligent combinations, in a relaxed pub-style environment. The service is friendly and welcoming, and staff take the time to describe each dish, rather than just delivering it to the table. A good selection of cocktails, a reasonably eclectic wine list and comfy decor (sheepskin rugs, dried flowers) rounds it all off nicely.

Harwood Arms did not disappoint after a few years gap, wonderful and inventive food but not overcomplicated, game led ingredients and great service. Great value for the quality. Need to come back asap

What a letdown the Sunday roast was. Lots of hype around it, had to book 3 months in advance, but have honestly had much better roasts for a fraction of the price. Nice pub and decor, the staff were friendly but service was slow. The venison Scotch Egg was the highlight, it was lovely. The roast was decent enough, lamb was cooked well, pork was tasty, and potatoes great. However, the portions were incredibly small for the huge price tag - £55 for two courses. My portion of pork was 3 tiny pieces, compared to some of the recent photos shared in other reviews where there was at least 4x as much (although this was for 2 people). The vegetables were cold and the carrot was very hard. They also serve an alternative to Coke which was £6 for a small bottle and wasn't particularly nice. Terrible value for money. Won't be recommending as a result.

Very average food, apart from the scotch egg. The rabbit lasagne was strange, with an overpowering thyme foam. The iberico pork was not tender at all, and very chewy. The skate felt like it had been rewarmed in the microwave. Didn’t stay for dessert. Waiter wasn’t really interested. We were very excited to try this place, especially my son who loves his food. Very disappointed, won’t go back. Not sure how it has a Michelin star.

I think my parents only visit us in London to go to the Harwood Arms. As soon as they book their flight, we book a table. Comfortable yet elegant in presentation, flavour and service. Waitstaff know their stuff and there is an obvious respect in the kitchen for ingredients and preparation. So much more than a pub and so much better than a fancy restaurant. If I could live there I would.
