The third Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse outpost opened in Lombard located in the new Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. Harry Caray's Lombard brings the same friendly confines and award-winning Italian Steakhouse cuisine from the legendary downtown location to Chicago's Western Suburbs. Designated the Official Home Plate of the Chicago Cubs, Harry Caray's specializes in the finest prime, aged steaks and chops and classic Italian cuisine. The food was good. The service was not. Waitress visited one of her tables 5 times and didn't come back around to us once. We requested a new server. She came to apologize and was not sincere in her apology so she should've just skipped b/c that was even more annoying. New server was slow b/c he had another table added I guess. New sever was extremely apologetic. Restaurant manager never came over. With so many choices for fine dining these days I'm not sure I would go back.

We been there multiple times. We went for Mother’s day last year and it was amazing. This year was not good. We got there early and were seated right away. It took a while to get our drinks (id say 30 min for a smoothie and mimosa along with water. The waiter barely came around and until after we waited over an hour for our food. The manager did comp half the meal but the fact that we didnt get our food till after 1:15 pm when we sat down at 1130am was ridiculous. I would say this years mothers day they were not prepared for. Sad because a lot of tables around us were mad and 1 table even left because it took too long. Sad experience and it is usually better

I am so very sorry for the experience you, and many of our other guests, had on Mother's Day at our Lombard restaurant. I am in no way making excuses--we had just rolled out the brunch menu a couple of weeks earlier and weren't prepared to manage the volume we saw on Mother's Day. If you reach out to holycow@harrycarays with name, the last four digits of your credit card and the total that you were charged, I'd like to refund the full amount. Additionally, if you'd accept it, I'd like to offer you a $100 gift certificate to return and experience the "real" Harry's. Never in our 37 years of business have we had such a disastrous day and I'm heartbroken that families like yours trusted us with your celebration and we let you down.

Horribly ruined my mom's mother's day. 11:45 reservation, was seated immediately. Didn't see a waiter until 12:30. Ordered food at 12:30, my mother's coffee was served cold and we didn't get the appetizer until after 1p.m which was also served cold. The food we ordered never came out to us as we waited and watched our waiter stuff his face with food at the bar. Management came out to apologize and said the food would be on them. We elected to have it to go and didn't receive the to go food til almost 1:30, with them conveniently forgetting my order of chicken vesuvio. The most expensive dish that was ordered. I will never dine at harry caray's ever again.

Chicken parmigiana and chicken piccata were delicious. Maple salmon was tasty. Roger is a terrific server.

The staff was very friendly. There are better choices available in our area for good food. We chose to go early, on a weekday, so we would have time to visit. However, there was a large private party in the next room and the noise was deafening.

This was the Easter Brunch Buffet. The selection was good and they kept things refilled except the dessert table. Also, the food on the buffet was barely warm (not hot). But overall, we enjoyed it.

Chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi and cavatappi with sausage were delicious. I paid with a HC gift card. It took far to long to process the payment.

I was surprised I needed to ask the hostess put the Cubs game on one of the TV's, even more surprised that she asked on what channel to find the game... at Harry Caray's Restaurant. The food was good as always. Our server wasn't great. We saw the busser at our table more than the server.

The Italian Wedding soup was too salty, but the kale chip accompaniment was a nice touch. Crab cake was good, the apple match sticks and watercress greens complimented it well. Walleye Pike with Etouffe had too much rice soaked with the sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly, but the etouffe sauce over powered it. I think it would have been better if the fish was served on a plain- or saffron infused-rice with a lemon-butter sauce. NY Strip Steak with Gorgonzola sauce was perfectly cooked. The shareable mashed potatoes and mushroom sides were also very good. The bread pudding dessert was dry, but the ice cream topping overcame it. Service by Casey and the supporting staff was excellent.

Very unwilling to accommodate dietary restrictions. Service was fine and food was well presented. For special dietary issues this is not the place.

Our server was fantastic. Everyone attentive and friendly. We have eaten here several times is past and had better food experience. The filet mignon my wife had ,though cooked to order was chewier than she expected and what she has had before. The prime rib special I had was also tough. Not what we are used to from Harry’s

Food was disappointing. The steak was over cooked and overly covered in gravy. The cost was super high and we didn’t even touch a few item’s because the taste was off.

We had drinks and lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Drinks started with Bloody Mary cocktails, and some wine. our lunches consisted of salads, hamburgers, and the ravioli. Everything was excellent. The service was excellent, the bar is nice and large and the lunch tables are well situated so we could watch several sporting events at the same time. Of the salad selections we had the Kale and the Chicken Chopped salads. Both were large and well made with fresh vegetables. The Toasted Ravioli is actually baked so it is not greasy but was filled with cheese and sausage. The Hamburger was very large and served with sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked to our liking. The staff is also very good.

Tuscan shrimp special was delicious as was the chicken piccata. Roger is a terrific server decanted the wine for us and made great recommendations.

Not worth the price at all. The service was slow and average at best. The food was meh at best. My lasagna was cold. The French onion soup didn’t have cheese on top. Just over all not at all what we hoped it to be for new years dinner. The spaghetti and meatballs was good as was the calamari. But the eggplant Parmesan was huge and also not hot when it came out. Definitely not the best meal for the price. The brownie dessert was good though. We will not be going back. I hope the one in Chicago is better otherwise I’m not sure how they are even still open.

New Year's Eve dinner, early evening. Most of the table ordered the surf and turf special, and all thought it was very good. I had the maple mustard glazed salmon with sauteed grape tomatoes and artichokes, which were wonderful. The tomatoes still held their shape so they weren't flimsy, and they just popped in your mouth with a great release of flavor. Also ordered the sweet corn brulee side, which was a very nice accompaniment for the salmon. I had a glass of the Malbec, as I tend to like red wine with salmon, and the Malbec was a very nice choice with this recipe!

The food is really under seasoned and overpriced. We had the crab cake …it was very bland and for over 18.00 I was expecting better. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs which was very bland and dry for an Italian restaurant. I had the lasagna ( really good) The Cesar salad was not good and small at over 12.00 a salad The Tiramisu was not good either. We never received bread on our table after asking for it three times, then the waiter said “oh I’ll put it in your to go bag” We won’t be returning.

Food was absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately service was just fair. He was great until we got our meal and then just disappeared. We never got to order another drink or even look into dessert (which isn't on the menu ugh) as it was time to go and my son was getting antsy. We were put in the back room where there wasn’t any ambiance and I asked to move towards the front where it was more festive and didn’t seem like I was in a shoebox. They should have filled the front more festive rooms first. We were definitely the early group at 1:45. Elliott was great as were all the service people working. Rigatoni was under the heat lamps a bit long - you could tell when they put it in front of us. Calamari was tasty. My steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. I asked for plain pasta on the side with parm and they accommodated. The brownie sundae was delicious and worth the wait.

Great service! Food was good, but overpriced, and the portions were smaller than they once were. Overall, not a good value for the money spent.

My wife and I have been regulars at Harry Caray's for Christmas lunch at Noon for a number of years and have always made reservations well in advance for the same booth. Prior to this year the experieince was always positive, but unfortunately the entire expereince this year went down hill from the moment we encountered the receptionist. Someone was seated at the booth I had reserved and had to be relocated while we waited 10 minutes. The house wine my wife ordered was more like vinegar than wine. We both orderred 8oz filets. My wife was satisfied with hers, but mine looked more like road kill that had been scooped up along Buttterfield Road. Certainly not a $42.95 steak. Will we return? Never again!
