Harpoon Henrys Seafood Restaurant is proud to offer a spectacular waterfront view, fresh seafood, and the latest in California Beach Cuisine. We offer our guests harbor views from our dining room and our outdoor waterfront patio. For 46 years, we have provided the best in service, ambiance, and cuisine. We have been winners of awards from the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association”, a finalist for Dining Excellence from both the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce and the County of Orange, and our wine list has been awarded a Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence.”

                                                    The upper patio is very nice for people and dog watching. The Clam Chowder was delicious, lot of clams. The Calamari Stripes were ok but I wouldn't get them again. The Mud Pie was Fantastic.

                                                    My wife and I arrived early at Harpoon Henry’s for our 6:00 PM reservation to celebrate Mother’s Day. Our hostess managed, thankfully, for us to have a Harbor window view dinner booth available for us in quick order, despite our early arrival. We both had crab cake appetizers, then lobster tails for the dinner course, and New York cheesecake for dessert. The presentation of each course was well received and delicious. Our server, Zack, for this visit was attentive and prompt. He made the experience very pleasant and memorable. We recommend Harpoon Henry’s in Dana Point Harbor for their location, food, and great service.

                                                    We had fogetten how good Harpoon Henry’s is and got distracted by new shiny restaurants. But so glad we revisited. The food really good and the staff friendly and professional. We will be back very soon!

                                                    We always enjoy a warm basket of sour dough bread to start. The fish and chips were tempura style and so good. My grandson had the petit filet and coconut shrimp. It was a high class meal for a reasonable cost. A classic Caesar salad - crisp and refreshing. Enjoyable mother’s day brunch.

                                                    It was great bp except for the hunk of Saran Wrap in my yummy Asian Pear Salad. I didn’t finish my salad The sweet waitress asked if I needed a box. I pointed out the hunk of Saran Wrap and she told me it was probably from the packaging for the salad. I literally could have choked on it. She was very sweet and apologetic but I do think there should’ve been a bill.adjustment.
