The food was excellent! Very expensive though, but worth it. I was a little annoyed when I asked for steak sauce and they asked if I wanted like a demi glaze sauce or something like that or A1, I said bring whatever. They brought a little bit of both sauces over, I used a little bit of both. When we got the bill, they charged $6 for it when I assumed it would be free, especially since we spent a good amt of money on the meal. And it was our anniversary, I had asked when I booked the reservation online for a "romantic" spot. Well we got put with everyone else, and it was a bit noisy. But overall, it was a great meal and we would go back again!

For the price of dinner not satisfied with seating !! Next to handicapped door and piano playing ! Both where a very problem to communicate with my wife on her Birthday ☹️☹️👎

Excellent food with large portions. Great service too. FYI we ate in the bar which was tight on space and quite loud with people talking/yelling at each other. Loved the live piano music.

Our waiter was great. The starters and salads were also very good. Everyone enjoyed the steaks, but the sides were not the greatest. The mac and cheese was very bland and so was the pasta alfredo. My daughter had ordered a side of truffle tater tots, which never came, but were given to us to go. I was told they were also bland. The delmonico was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Overall, it was good, with a few minor issues.

We ventured to Hanover Street Chophouse for a blend of birthday and graduation celebrations for our party of five. Commencing with champagne and continuing through to the courses, our culinary journey was abruptly aborted. Before even brushing past the two-hour mark, our waitress, with undue urgency, ushered in the end of our evening by insisting on our valet tickets. She soon signaled that our sedan stood ready streetside. Such hastened hospitality heavily hampered our high hopes. Hence, for those harboring plans for pleasure, perhaps pick a place with a penchant for patience.

We had a great night for our mom’s 90th birthday celebration. Oysters and specialty salad to start. Incredible steaks with solid red wine for the main course. An incredible finish with ports and cobbler. Great night.

We decided to return to the chop house for our anniversary this year. We rarely go out so for us this is certainly a special occasion. Last year our experience was phenomenal from our service to our food. This year we left very disappointed. I usually enjoy their French onion soup but this time the broth had a very strange flavor I’ve never had before in that type of soup. My partners steak was the special which was $83. Tough, gristly, and overcooked. He never complains about food, but he said it was one of the worst steaks he ever had. Our server never came by to ask us how our meal was, she only returned at the end after we had been waiting a while for boxes to take home. I myself am a server so I understand how it can be busy, but we saw her standing around several times talking to other staff when her tables needed her attention. She was attentive to the large party next to us but never stopped in to check on us during the meal. We had to ask for the complimentary bread and were left with empty drinks. We certainly don’t mind paying for an expensive meal if the food and service is worth it. Yesterday it certainly wasn’t and left us very disappointed with the chophouse.

A large, loud party of 6 put a damper on the experience. Additionally, we had noted in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and we expected that to be noted by the staff, as were other parties that evening, but we were not recognized as celebrating a birthday.

Matt was our server and he was outstanding. Food was absolutely fabulous. Three of us had the swordfish special and one had the 12-oz filet. Loved the piano player in the background. Will be back soon

Always enjoy our time here. Easily the best mashed potatoes and truffled Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had. Love their martinis and desserts too.

We're new to NH and this was our first try at finer dining since we moved here. The food was phenomenal. The timing between each course was perfect. Plenty of staff to see to our needs. Free valet parking. Oh, and pretty strong drinks. Definitely not a reasonably priced restaurant but our bill was just under what I was expecting.

We’ve been here a few times and last night was an underwhelming experience that will make me think twice before going back. We got seated between a table of 6 and a table of 8, even though there were other booths opened. We got meatball appetizer, that was delicious. The sauce was thick, sweet, and very palatable. We also ordered truffle tots, but they came out cold, not even remotely warm, COLD. We also ordered the seared scallops and butternut squash risotto, which was delectable, no complaints there. For sides we ordered one Mac and cheese with lobster, and one Mac and cheese with truffle. Those were decent. However, the server wasn’t as tentative to us as he was to the table of 8 beside us, which I thought was very unprofessional of him. He didn’t come by to ask if we wanted another drink during the meal. It didn’t completely ruin the night but we were still patrons that deserve service like everyone else. We took a good amount of leftovers home, which we always like to savor the next day. However, to our surprise when we got home, the waiter completely forgot to pack our truffle Mac and cheese that I was looking forward to enjoying the most the next day. We barely touched it at the restaurant so basically we paid for a whole dish that was thrown away. We ordered the limoncello creme brûlée for dessert and it was under par. The cookies and creme cheesecake to go was also mediocre, nothing of note. This will probably be our last time at HSC because we would much rather spend our money elsewhere for a better experience.

It was my son’s birthday and his and his wife’s 1st wedding anniversary. The family (5 of us) thought the evening was Fantastic !! The service at bar and at table, the food, everything, especially the extra added touches with “birthday anniversary “ wishes were great. We ALL had a wonderful evening. The first time and not our last time there for sure.

It was very nice to enjoy a 5 o’clock reservation without the hustle and bustle of a busy evening. The crab appetizer was phenomenal, however, I wished the shrimp cocktail was not butterflied . They almost seemed dried out yet we’re still delicious. The cream spinach was the star dish of the evening. The bottled wine selection was wonderful as well as their price points. Sadly, we did not save room for any dessert, but it looks like they had a wonderful selection . Thank you Marin for a lovely evening.

This is the best Restaurant if you want to go fancy , Everything is just outstanding ! We sat in the bar last night and our bartender was awesome , Very nice and took care of us . The food and drinks are great ! They take reservations , but book a couple weeks before you actually want to go cause they fill up fast .
