Hamiltons of Stockbridge is a multi award winning, relaxed environment where the carefully sourced menu changes with the seasons and drinks are a well-chosen blend of beautiful wines and modern standards with a subtle twist. Hamiltons maintains a comprehensive selection of beers spanning all the local favourites as well as an carefully selected cocktail menu including unique creations such as the Rum and Raisin milk punch. The food menu is an ever-changing experience that includes popular items. Hamiltons can be found at 16-18 Hamilton Place, near to The Water of Leith and Edinburghs New Town, a short walk from Jubilee Garden and around 10 minutes by bus to the Royal Botanical Gardens. Hamiltons was created with locals in mind, but welcomes everyone and prides itself on its friendly staff and warm atmosphere. We are also a dog friendly venue with the exception of the raised restaurant area. We also welcome U18's until 8pm.

Hamilton's is a really nice pub/ restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

Just went for brunch and soft drinks. It was nice not great. Felt even just a bit salad on the plate along with the sandwiches would have been good. The service was good but slow for us getting the food but once we had eaten felt slightly rushed leaving. I would return for a brunch but wouldn’t rush back.

We went for an evening meal then back the next day for brunch. The staff were all really attentive and friendly and stopped for a chat on both occasions making us feel very relaxed and welcome. Food was great and the size & quality of the full Scottish breakfast went down a treat.

I’ve been to Hamilton’s quite a few times for brunch, this was a first in the evening. Best steak I’ve had in a long time and the cocktails are really good too. 5 stars

Excellent, tasty food and nice wine. Staff couldn’t have been more attentive and efficient. We were visit for an early birthday celebration meal but can recommend for any occassion, just a great place for a meal & drink. Highly recommend.
