                                                                                                            Caesar salad was warm and light on dressing. Restaurant was overly warm. Disappointed that a 20% tip was automatically added to our check and we were only a party of 3. There are no signs or indication this is the case prior to dining. Overall service and food was not worth the price.

                                                                                                            Hal’s was good as usual, it certainly was loud and busy and has gotten pricier. We were a party of 4 and when we got the bill, 20% gratuity was already added which was an unpleasant surprise. The service was good but tipping should be at the discretion of the individual, if you are going to add it, then call it a service fee. On a separate note about tips in the US, it is out of control. Everyone wants a tip !!

                                                                                                            All was great, as usual at Hal’s with the salads, steaks, and drinks! Music and the bar seating with cigars made it even better. We had Caesar salad and bone-in ribeye steaks.
