Sein diskret- elegantes Ambiente erinnert an die entschwundene Kaffeehauskultur der Zwanziger Jahre. Im weiträumigen Gastraum herrscht rege Betriebsamkeit. Anspruchsvoll wirkt die kleinere Restaurantsektion durch ihre dezente Gestaltung. Hier lässt sich ein Hauch Vergangenheit spüren und moderner, unaufdringlicher Service genießen. Mit einer hauseigenen Patisserie, einem umfangreichen Speisenangebot, einer vorzüglichen Weinkarte und der stilvollen Ausstattung knüpft das Restaurant "Hackescher Hof“ an die alte Tradition berühmter Berliner Caféhäuser und Hallenrestaurants an.
Unsere Köche bevorzugen bei der Zubereitung frische Umlandprodukte aus ökologisch vertretbarem Anbau und Fleisch aus artgerechter Tierhaltung.

Aufmerksamer Service und leckeres Essen. Besonders gut fand ich die Möglichkeit bei einigen Speisen, zwischen Vegetarisch, Fisch und Fleisch wählen zu können. Daher gerne wieder.

Qualitativ und geschmacklich hervorragendes Essen, Portionen angemessen. Die überflüssigen Gläser hätten gerne vom Tisch genommen werden können, aber das ist nur eine kleine Bemerkung am Rande. Wenn man nobel Essen gehen möchte, ist der Hof sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das war wirklich ein sehr gelungener Abend. Ambiente, Essen, alles gut und die junge Frau die uns bedient hat, war wirklich super aufmerksam und sympathisch. Das hat den Abend dann wirklich rund gemacht. Wir fanden es super und sprechen gerne eine Empfehlung aus.

Das Weihnachtsessen war ok, aber ich erwartete eine andere Leistung für den Preis. Die Spätze waren fade, die Sauce fett, das Fleisch nicht wirklich saftig. Mein vegetarisches Hauptgericht war eine Vorspeisenportion= 5 Gnocchis mit ein wenig Sauce und Gemüse für 20€. Auch mit einem Nachtisch war ich nicht satt, obwohl ich ein schwacher Esser bin. Sehr schade, da es ein stimmungsvolles Restaurant mit guten Weinen ist. Insgesamt wahrscheinlich für Touristen, die ein Restaurant in der City wünschen, aber nicht für einen Gourmetgast, der gute Küche zu korrekten Preisen sucht.

This is one of these places that tries to hard to be on the cutting edge of modern cuisine and falls short. To begin the meal the menu was extremely confusing, even though I speak German. the buffalo mozzarella it was simply some of the best mozzarella that I’ve ever had and the seasonal tomatoes were perfect. The balsamic drizzle was also fantastic. However, that’s where the ecstasy ended. The appetizer of a yogurt soup was good but not overwhelmingly good. The octopus that I had for McHorse was well cooked but slightly bland. It was missing the nice char that I’ve had at other high-end seafood restaurants. My partner had the gnocchi which seem to be Parisian style and disappeared under a bed of herbs, vegetables and salad. Basically the gnocchi got lost and what there was of it was OK. The strawberry dessert was great as long as there had been more of the poached strawberries. Rest of it was rather forgettable. The service was not overbearing, but the waiter kept us waiting forever to pay the bill.

We had a wonderful table on the terrace outside. Service was great and our waiter very helpful. Most of us had the 3 course menu which did not disappoint. Even more fun was our discovery of some amazing gin from Berlin. A beautiful summer night experience.

I was travelling alone and stopped here for dinner on the recommendation of Top 10 Berlin. It was a fantastic experience - food was excellent, as was my waiter’s service (Patrick, I believe?). I had a window seat and watched the world go by over a great plate of fresh asparagus , schnitzel and craft beer. What’s not to like? Highly recommend.

Great place, great ambience, good food. We had a lovely evening and we eat well. The waiter was excellent and really helpful. Menu in German and English. We were looking for local foods and that was not a problem.

Easter Monday: they were a bit busy (late lunchtime) and struggled to maintain the usual level of service. But the food was very good and we enjoyed the meal. They wouldn’t split the bill between several cards.

Was für ein schöner Abend!! Das Essen war hervorragend, anspruchsvoll aber ohne Chichi und der Service war angenehm zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant hat Klasse ohne abgehoben zu sein. Absolut empfehlenswert und eine besondere Adresse am Hackeschen Markt.
