We hope our dress policy is comfortable for all. Coats & ties are not required. Slacks, dress jeans, & dress shorts are great. We require that gentlemen wear a collared shirt. T-shirts, cut off shorts, & athletic wear are not permitted. We ask Gentlemen to remove their hats in the Dining Room.

Join us at GW Fins as we celebrate the flavors of summer with a fabulous 3-Course Prix Fixe Menu for only $55 (plus tax & gratuity)! Each evening, Executive Chef Michael Nelson and our Culinary Team will create a different menu that highlights the freshest local ingredients, like peaches and Creole tomatoes, along with some of our most popular dishes, including our Parmesan Crusted Sheepshead and Lobster Bisque.

Took awhile to get the biscuits and drinks but the scalibut was awesome as usual. Try the coconut sorbet in a chocolate shell! Chef's kiss! I

Lovely time with Savannah as our waitress. Food was great- the biscuits alone are reason to give this place a visit. The Shalibut was amazing even as someone who isn’t big on seafood. A new regular for my family.

We travel to New Orleans about every 3 months from Kansas City. I make a reservation every time at GW Fins. The food and service are spectacular!

Still one of our favorite restaurants! Wonderful variety of delicious creative dishes all expertly prepared. The staff and chef are very helpful in navigating the menu to accommodate our dietary needs/choices and make modifications without sacrificing the spirit and flavor of the creative offerings. A very lively atmosphere adds perfectly to the experience. The wine selection is extensive with many fairly priced options; our waiter, Omar was quite knowledgeable and helped us to select the perfect wine to go with our dinner.

Derrick was great. Food was delicious. Only negative - being a local I didn’t appreciate being stuck in the back side room where it’s obvious they only seat tourists.

This was my 11th time to GW. Unfortunately I’ve always given them 5 stars until Friday nights dinner. My favorite restaurant in the world is no longer. We fly in 1-2 times a year just to eat here. I feel that the they dropped off in everything from service to some of the food items. We were celebrating two birthdays. Like in the past they called me in advance to get the names and ages. However this time there was no printed menu or even mention of the birthdays at the end despite the table having some confetti. We started off with drinks and two apps. The GW martini was extremely sour while the rest of the drinks were good. The calamari app was probably the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. It kind of tasted like frozen food aka Red Lobster. The Chantrel mushrooms barely had any taste. The pork chop was good, the scallops were great, the soft shell crab wasn’t that good, and the veggie sides (mushroom risotto, shishito peppers, and sweet mashed) were bland. The waiter was ok but probably not the worst I’ve had since I’ve been dining here. He definitely did not go above and beyond. In the end it really hurts me to say that I’m not sure if i would dine here again. Please bring back the old GW asap!!!
