In the last four decades Gulliver’s Restaurant has became one of the most popular Prime Rib Restaurant in Southern California.
Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck.
As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators.
The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection.

                                                                        We'd not been to Gulliver's in several years and decided to give it another try. Driving into the parking lot the place looked closed with only few cars around. When we went inside we found only a couple of patrons and not much going on. We were promptly seated, but the vibe was 'dead' with no background music or ambiance of any kind. Our server was the only positive of the visit. She was most helpful and came around many times to check in with us. I could go on and on, but will stop by saying it's a sad situation that this restaurant, which was a shining star at one time, has slipped to such a low level. The food was just OK, but for the price there's so many other options. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. Houston's and Il Fornaio just down the street, to name a few, are so much better for the money.

                                                                        Gullivers is an "institution" and part of our past at other locations which no longer exist. As we were going to be in the area, we decided to go there for a birthday celebration. The hostess who greeted us could not have been more pleasant, giving us a choice of tables when she seated us. We chose a booth that was nice and quiet. We were immediately brought breads and water. Our server was also very pleasant. We were early diners, so we received our meals quickly. We had asked for "pink" for our Prime Rib. It was not served that way and was nicely replaced. The only complaint was everything was just lukewarm, at best, including the stuffed potatoes we "added on." We didn't complain further, but perhaps should have considering the price of the meal. A nice strawberry shortcake style dessert was brought for a birthday treat.

                                                                        The staff and service was amazing. The prime rib was so tender and full of flavor. The crab cakes are also an absolute must.

                                                                        We like the old world ambience and the great service. The prime rib and the sea bass were delicious. The mushroom risotto side should be a full menu item. It's the best.
