    Greens is available for a buyout any day or evening. We can accommodate up to 135 people for a sit down meal and 200 people for a standing reception. We also have a private dining room that is great for parties from 10 guests to 50 guests. The Bay Room is great for family gatherings, birthday celebrations, cocktail parties and more.     Sat outdoors and froze bc of wind. Curtain at outdoor entrance blows into diners so it can’t be used when needed.

    Terrible. Overbooked - had a reservation and still waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to get seated. When seated we got a table for 4 people instead of 6. They wouldn't let us sit at the table for 4, so we had to get back up and wait another 15 minutes until we were finally sat at a table for 5, even tough we were a party of 6. Terrible food, took an hour to get drinks, super small portions. Simply unbelievable and then you have to leave a 20% service fee for it. Insane!!!

    The food, the views, the tradition …Greens is great. Our party of 5 had a great meal, with a few delays. We were told the restaurant was slammed by an unanticipated mass art sale next door so that was understandable. App diners note: We had app-reserved and when we arrived the physical wait line was so long to reach the host desk that the App cancelled us as a NoShow. Green’s kindly rebooked us. App diners beware.

    The food was great. No question about the goodness of the 10 or so dishes that we ordered. We were there at5 pm The first problem we encounter was the app to order before the dinner. I am a 5 time CEO of technology company and I couldn’t get it to work. I finally managed to order some drinks, this is way too hard for someone who is there with friends for a birthday dinner. Then the waiter tells us we have only one and a half hours to eat our dinner. I am from Manhattan 40 years ago.3 of the 4 Of our party are from the New York area. This Put an unnecessary stress on my guest and onthe servers. When the servers took all of the sauce, making an assumption that they were finished I didn’t eat my portion of the spring roll because there was no sauce We heard the table next to us complaining about this problem. There was not enough time to eat.  One of my guests decided to ask for Manager as the the staff really started to push us to go faster. This very young guy came over and he was not a manager. IAsk him for a card and he gave me the card for the restaurant with no name on it I asked him to write his name on it and he did it with a magic marker. I couldn’t read it so I asked him to please write his name so I could read it. Anyway, I would never go back again. The kind of food they makebis pretty standard and delivered by many restaurants right now in the in the city. I guess there will be a loss in the facility and location. The noise was getting intolerable at the end anyway. This was so unnecessary. I don’t think I’ve ever written such a tragic review  and I do three or four reviews a month.

    There are so many problems with this restaurant. First, even if you reserve ahead and request a window table, they take walk-ins and give them priority to those tables. The restaurant seemed to be caught flat-footed the night we were there, not anticipating increased traffic from the Fort Mason Art Fair, and thus was under staffed, and service very slow. The menu is very limited, and the portions are ludicrously small. Why not bring back the tofu/vegetable brochettes served over rice? The flavors are a little off in several dishes, like the special snap pea soup, which is also a very unappetizing color. One bright spot are the excellent desserts, especially the rhubarb-pistachio cake. It is absolutely delicious.

    Solid vegan and vegetarian fare. A stalwart on the SF veg food scene. Spacious dining room, not too loud. My fifth time there over the years. Always satisfied with my experience.

    The food is always excellent the greens ! Great view of the bay in the golden gate bridge. We’ve never been disappointed.
