Exceptional dining staff waiting at the entrance where you are greeted and guided to a booth or table. Servers are the best in Greensboro and possibly the state. Wine list is excellent and carefully selected by Martin. Appetizers are amazing and entrees are delicious and there is a choice for every taste, and let us not forget the desserts that you must sample from apples on incredible pastry drizzled with their own Carmel over ice cream made in their kitchen. You haven’t dined until you’ve visited Green Valley Grill!

It's rare that we enjoy everything about a restaurant and our meals there. All four of us (two adult couples) were more than pleased with what we ordered. Of special note: The broccoli was crisp-tender -- not overcooked. My husband & I had ordered from Green Valley Grill's menu when at the O. Henry Hotel's jazz nights. This was our 1st time ordering a full meal. I got the grilled salmon, which was juicy and flavorful. My husband got the lamb chops, which were deliciously not overcooked. Our friend got the the parmesan-crusted chicken. She gave me a bite, and I loved it! This place is so popular (for good reason), you'll need to make reservations.

Went for a late lunch (2:00 pm). Service, food, wine list - all fantastic. We will be going back (despite the 30-minute drive).

Our Grandson brought his girlfriend up for a visit from Charlotte… we took them to GVG for lunch… great decision! She was very impressed with the ambiance, the food, and the service… we knew that’s just what you get at the GVG! When we are entertaining and only have one shot at a first impression, we take them to the Green Valley Grill… works every time!

For $50 each - was not what I expected. Food was average - not really great at all for a high end restaurant. Service was good. Restaurant was nice with a great environment.

Always a wonderful experience at Green Valley Grill. With a guest visiting from out of town, we decided on GVG because it is always consistently great! Attentive service, but not too attentive; wonderful food every single time: and a warm, lively atmosphere that is not too loud, but still feels exciting. GVG is our “go to” restaurant for a nice group meal that will please everyone. Last night was exactly what we expected- lovely in every way.

This is my go-to place for any type of occasion. The strawberry chicken salad was light yet filling. The cappuccino cheesecake is to DIE for and I wish it wasn’t a seasonal/rotational dessert. So good!

Broad array of breakfast options. Ham and gruyere omelet was tasty and the GVG home fries were nice and crispy. :-)

Wonderful lunch with family visiting from out of town. Lovely setting with outdoor views made the experience special. Our server was very attentive and provided us with answers to our questions concerning several new items on menu. Food was delicious! ( one person ordered the Reuben sandwich and another ordered Parmesan crusted Chicken) Will definitely continue to choose the Green Valley Grille for both special occasions and a weekday meal with friend.

One of my favorite restaurants in Greensboro! I inadvertently made a dinner reservation for 7:30AM on Mother’s Day when it was supposed to be PM! I called in the morning when I realized my mistake, they were able to accommodate our party. The food was excellent, the scallops were on point!

GVG never fails to satisfy us when we want to celebrate a special occasion or simply eat out. Food is always delicious and well-prepared. There are always plenty of servers available to answer questions or help as needed. We’ll continue to come to GVG.

Amazing as always. Food was outstanding, but as usual I forgot to take pics. My husband and brother had the Eggs Benedict and both say it's one of the best anywhere. I had the applewood bacon quiche and it was perfection. My mom had nothing but rave reviews for her salmon and polenta. Our waitress was so sweet and kind! Splurged on dessert - Affogato, Creme Brulee, and Cappuccino Cheesecake with coffees. GVG does not disappoint!

Went for Mother's Day and we had a great time! My mom really enjoyed herself, especially the lemon scones and quiche! My only concern was that my eggs benedict was slightly room temperature and I would have preferred it to be hot. The latte I got was delicious and so was the lemon coffee cake.

Green Valley Grille is a FAV of ours for many years! My husband treated me to brunch for Mother’s Day. We were seated on the lovely terrace. The quality of the food was excellent as always. Prior to our breakfast and with coffee, we had the lemon curd scones- a wonderful petite treat with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. And they came out warm-EXCELLENT! My husband had the Rustic French Toast with strawberries minus the Nutella bc not a chocolate fan - he ate every bite which is rare these days. I had the personal size quiche and it was superb, a little heavy with onions but still flavorful and hot! The reason for our lowered score for yesterday had to do with server response. We started off well enough but 2 things happened affecting the quality of our service. First, two rather large parties were seated close to us after we were seated. It seems after that, ALL the server’s attention focused on the larger groups- she had a lot to manage on a very busy day. Secondly, bc my husband has a fairly uncontrolled tremor of the hands and arms, he usually will ask for his coffee to be in a “to go cup”. We forgot to ask and the coffee was brought out as usual, but hard for my husband to handle. It took more than 10 minutes to get any ones attention to correct this. Finally another server said he would tell our server. She came much later with a cold drink cup and straw. I said I was sorry the right message did not convey . She did not return with a coffee “to go cup” . We had to ask another person who was serving on the terrace. In the meantime, the two larger parties seated after us were getting what they needed in terms of beverage service by our server. Our food came out about 10 minutes after the beverage chaos but it was served by another server. I do understand that many times, another staff will bring food. We never saw her again until I asked for the check. We felt hurried out, ignored, and invisible-contrary to our experience over time at GVG.

We love GVG and dine many times throughout the year. We enjoyed most recent experience, but did have a problem with the volume of the music while dining and in the restrooms. The music was so loud it was hard to hear the waitress and even others seated at our table. Then in the restrooms the music was blaring! We look forward to coming back very soon. Hopefully the music volume is not blasting as loudly as our previous experiences.

Food and drinks were great; as always. The staff has become very "tired". Just lacking in overall professionalism. There are no happy faces, pleasant greetings. Wait staff are making faces, rolling eyes about customers when passing one another. Venue is still lovely. Again, food was great. But, host stand, especially, leaves a lot to be desired.

We keep coming back. For a good reason: we are never disappointed. The management and the staff are professional. The food is consistently well done. Sure, Friday nights are a little noisier. Go there, eat and drink! You will like it enough to keep coming back.

The Green Valley Grill was recommended to my husband and me since we were visiting the area for an overnight stay. The menu had a wide variety of options. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and the service was wonderful. We really enjoyed our meal. Great recommendation!

Excellent food and great service! We always love GVG. It is a bit loud. I do not think there is much they can do about it b/c of the high ceilings and an open kitchen. Not sure why so many restaurants want an open kitchen…it makes the entire restaurant loud. Overall, we had a great experience.

Wonderful as always! Our server Katelyn was great, very polite and attentive without making us feel rushed. She matched our pace well and was friendly. We love coming here and always appreciate the complimentary dessert for special occasions. GVG will continue to be our go-to spot for date night!

Great Wait staff as always, the food was great which I have come to expect when eating at GVG, was a little loud but that was down to being busy so nothing GVG can do about that! our wait staff were perfect!
