Le Green Dragon Tavern & Museum est la dernière attraction de l'heure du Carlsbad en Californie. L'espace de 22 000 pieds carrés dispose d'un musée, d'un restaurant, de 2 tavernes, d'une boutique souvenir et d'une salle de bal disponible pour des événements corporatifs ou privés. Le G.D.T. & M. crée une ambiance accueillante pour célébrer, se commémorer et honorer l'histoire américaine, les pères fondateurs et apprécier leur contribution à notre société moderne. Offrant un accès gratuit au musée, l'établissement abrite des documents datant de l'époque coloniale et de la guerre de l'indépendance. C'est l'occasion pour petits et grands de découvrir les richesses de l'histoire du pays. Le chef du restaurant, Gregory Krol propose un menu où les traditions de «l'ancien monde» et du «nouveau monde» se rencontrent. Il est essentiellement composé à partir de produits locaux provenant des fermes, et issus d'une agriculture durable.

Mother’s Day 2024! Brunch was very nice. Menu selection had a variety. We had salmon, sliders, sweet potatoes, lobster, beet salad, burger and dessert (carrot cake, chocolate lava, and CHURROS)…ALL DELICIOUS! We’ll be back❤️ Nice to also walk the museum while waiting.

As always, a great experience. I tired the salmon this time. Delicious and the beet salad is a must order each time. Paul the manager was a gracious as usual! My favorite go to restaurant close to home

A hidden gem in Carlsbad! It's a restaurant AND a museum. Comfort food at it's best at a great value...Take a little extra time to walk thru the museum and learn about the American Revolution ;-)

What a surprise to find a colonial American restaurant and museum in the midst of Carlsbad! We were there on a quiet mid-week lunch time and the place was not busy. I would guess it might get noisy when there's more of a crowd because of the hardwood floors and such, but the ambience was immersive, our server (Donovan) was great and the food was fresh and well-prepared. The menu has a wide variety of choices for each taste. Touring the free American history museum afterwards was a treat and we learned a lot of interesting facts about the founding of our nation.

This is a great place! Food is delicious and portions are generous. Been here many times and the only thing that diminished the experience a little bit was too much salt showered over the top of everything. I'll still go back because I think this was just an aberration in the kitchen this time.

Fantastic Lobster rolls: California & Maine! Great service by Alex; very attentive & great personality! He's a "Keeper" for sure! The friends who were my guests, visiting from Prescott Valley, AZ loved the food & the historical walk we made down the hall!

Waitresd was quite rude. We made the mistake of sitting at a more desirable table without getting permission. She scolded us out in front of other diners. Quite embarrassing. The table was not marked reserved. Unfortunately too, we felt rushed through the meal and yes, it was uncomfortable having Her as our waitperson. We came to this restaurant By the way, there was a Manager on duty. He never mentioned the table issue to us. It would have been more appropriate I think? Food? My Wife really enjoyed Her Short Rib and mashed potatoes. I had the Fried Avocado tacos. 🌮 I was not impressed. But after all my stomach was was in turmoil after the tongue lashing from the Waitress.

A last minute decision to meet a friend for lunch was quite satisfying. We both had the seafood mixed meal and shared a 1/2 beet salad. We both took leftovers home. Paul is ever the most gracious host and Donovan was a superb server. Always my go to place for great food and service.

The food was great, as usual. But there was some sort of event that filled the whole restaurant at 5:30. We had wanted 5:30, but that was the only unavailable time slot. So we took 5:45. There was no music, just patrons talking. But their voices bounced around the room, making it difficult for the four in my party to hold a conversation. I will go again because I love the lobster, but next time I will not select a time immediately following a time slot that is sold out.

We really enjoy the food and think it is excellent. We dined on the bar side and found it a little on the noisy side. The large dining room is much quieter. The service was good and they were very friendly. Our only complaint is that they never asked if we wanted refills on the iced tea and coffee. We have been there many times for special occasions and highly recommend them.

This menu is amazing. So much wonderful seafood ! The apps varied and delicious. They even have Porter beer, which is my favorite. Easy to park and a fun spot. The museum in the back is very cool!

Signature! Chicken parm dish was overcooked tasteless chicken with oversized pasta … server didn’t check back and forgot to bring one of the drinks . Nice atmosphere but the rest is lacking .

We have eaten there many times. Even though the food is almost always very good, I believe this was the best when taking all three of us into account.

Shrimp scampi with Fettuccini was delicious as was the cod and the beet salad is always perfect. Paul, the manager was delightful as usual. We consistently have a fabulous experience.

The food is always amazing....but to wait for our drunks for 15 minutes is crazy. Not even alcoholic drinks. Server/waiter kept never introduced themselves just walked by saying "You been helped?" Then he kept forgetting our sodas, we asked 3 times for what soup of the day was and he kept saying oh I jeep forgetting to ask. Never asked us if we were ready to order we had to find him to put our order in. Once we ordered we never saw him again until after our drinks were empty for awhile and a back server brought our meals. 30 minutes after that our server tried to chat and play nice by asking about desserts....heard several other patrons complain about the service and the wait. We only come back again each time for the food but are embarrassed to bring any of our family/friends there.

Our reservation was for 6:00….finally seated at 6:15. Never saw a waiter or waitress, so we left at 6:45.

Service was non existent. The manager was more concerned w talking w friends then helping server and providing service. Profiled upon greeted and led us to believe why no service provided. The worse feeling ever not being acknowledged. We took our business elsewhere and will not return nor recommend

We took our granddaughter for her second birthday. I booked online and it asked any special occasion. I thought she might get at least sang to. No one even said Happy Birthday and she was wearing a crown. That was a bit disappointing but then I wondered … why even ask?? The food was great and the service was amazing. Everything else was perfect. Thanks

This is a gem of a place that people don't talk about much. Locate just off the I-5 freeway in Carlsbad; it's a nice spot with a restaurant, museum, and a small bar area. We ate there for Easter, and the food was great. Shepperd's pie is popular, so I ordered that with no regrets. The potions are appropriate, and the price was reasonable overall.

Six of us enjoyed our Easter dinner here. Everyone could order exactly what they liked and were very pleased with their choices. Two of our group went through the museum and learned so much. The service was excellent and staff was friendly.

I've eaten at the restaurant and ordered takeout many times. The food is always delicious, large portions and the staff are friendly and professional. The museum is also very interesting.

We were immediately seated and shortly after ordered our food and drinks. We each ordered wagyu sliders and split a garlic parmesan fries, all of which were good. The beers at happy hours prices were excellent, and the service was fine and attentive. A fine way to spend a Friday early evening.

Food was tasty and had something for everyone on a vary wide variety of menu items. Service was great, very attentive and manager stopped by to make sure everything was going good. They also threw in a freed dessert for my grandson's birthday which was a nice touch.

Green Dragon has been on top of our list of favorites since we first went a few months ago. It is an extremely comfortable dining experience complete with a credible museum representation of patriots from the earliest days of our country. It’s def an experience and new info is discovered on each visit. Highly recommend - and enjoy the Connecticut-style Lobster Roll which is one of the best I’ve found on the west coast.
