Reservation not ready. Waited 30 minutes in the full lobby with no one staffing the desk. No silverware, no drink refills. Not a good experience.

The restaurant management staff allowed far too many reservations for Mothers Day. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get sat despite the reservation. While our waitress was very attentive the kitchen staff really dropped the ball, multiple items came out ice cold and they were missing key ingredients to dishes. Props to the wait staff for dealing with the kitchen and front of house letting them down.

Granted it was Mother’s Day, probably one of the busiest restaurant days of the year… but our experience was not great. I would suggest management be more present to offer to help with refills, bussing tables, checking on patrons. Our son’s pizza sat in a window for over 20 mins until served and it arrived hard and dry. Our server did the best she could given the circumstances. Also very loud, but we were seated at a table placed directly adjacent to the kitchen.

We went to Granite City for Mother's Day and knew it would be crowded. We had a 5:00 reservation and waited about half a hour after being told it would be just a few minutes. When I asked to check the status of our table, we were seated with the hostess saying that they were focused on the larger parties but could have seated our 4-person group. As we walked to our booth, we passed several open 4-tops and I thought about the other foursome who was standing near my family in the crowded waiting area who also could have been seated. It was quite a while before our order was taken but the food came out fairly quickly. We asked for lemons in the water but they had run out of lemons and did not have enough ketchup bottles to go around. We ordered 2 alcoholic beverages and were told those would be a few minutes but I had to remind the server about the drink order after the food arrived to which she said "oh yeah" as if she'd forgotten. The drinks had been ready at the bar and she brought them over. The salmon was very dry, as was the fish in the fish tacos. One of our water glasses was emptied quite quickly and we were not offered a refill until the meals had been completed. This was my first experience at Granite City but my husband said they are normally much better. As a former restaurant server, I saw many areas of improvement and it did seem they might be low on staff. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the restaurant.

Our server was excellent. She anticipated everything we needed. We never had to ask for refills. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Granite City is my go-to place foe a great meal!

Noise level was so high at dinner that trying to converse in a booth was difficult. Flatbread was good. Chicken pot pie was made with deli sliced chicken sliver and was mainly a sauce. Not worth it at all. Fish and chips used to be better. Something changed and quality lower.

There were 4 of us who all had been before but it had been a while. They have a great menu and the pick 2 lunch option is awesome. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great.

Other than the noise level, which was too loud, everything was great. They accommodated an additional person beyond what we had reserved and food delivery was timely.

We have been coming here for years. The food quality really went down. Our waitress confirmed they have new suppliers. I’m really bummed about this. This used to be our spot to grab burgers and wings.

WOW!!! Went for Happy Hour, and that’s exactly what we got. We split some Apps and House Wines at Half-Price before 5:00 on Fridays. Every tantalizing bite was scrumptious and sip refreshing. To top off the evening, we did a carry out of Famous Dave’s Founder’s Feast at $20.

We had a wonderful experience and meals for a table of 7. Our Host was very accommodating moving tables several times until we achieved our perfect set up. Our meals veried from salmon, to burgers, and mix and match. All of us really enjoyed our food.

We had another great experience at Granite City! We highly recommend this eatery! The appetizers and beers were fabulous! The service was exceptional and we will return over and over because everything is done right!

We have been loyal patrons of Granite City for a few years now. My husband LOVES your Duke beer. We also love the Red Ale. We got carry outs all through Covid. We probably own 10 of the growlers! We brought friends with us on Friday Night, 3/15/24 for the all you can eat fish. Well, the fish was excellent! Perfectly done, and unlike other all you can eat fish places during lent, we had our fill! the beer went with the fish perfectly and we had an EXCELLENT meal and a great time! Secondly, our illustrious server, Jeffrey, who seems to work with an extra set of arms and legs, IS FABULOUS! Not only does he always have a smile and kind words, but he gets it! He takes care of us as if we were his only table, (not true because he bartends as well!) When we were done with our plate, out came more fish, even before we had to ask! Give this guy a raise and a promotion! Aside from the fish, there are plenty of great dinners that are reasonable for any palette. I would recommend Granite City to anyone who likes great food and great service!

Don’t hesitate. Visit and enjoy. We had the Spinach & Artichoke Dip followed by the best ever Boneless Wings slathered in a fabulous BBQ sauce. The House Wine pours exceeded our mutual expectations at $5.00 each for Chardonnay and Cabernet. The bill during Happy Hour was $24 Total.

Food was less than average! The scones were all burnt. The buffet wasn’t fresh. The made to order omelette was good but no option for egg whites. Had a reservation but we had to sit at a high top in the bar. Only server was the bartender who was great but he was the only one serving/waiting tables. Would not recommend or go back.

Toya was our server and she was great and very attentive. Great drinks, moderate ambience and a diverse menu. I had the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and it was delicious!! The buffalo tenders were a little small but they were just enough and blended well with the Mac n cheese, I would recommended this place again and again.

I usually go to Granite City for their awesome brunch with bottomless mimosas, however yesterday I decided to go to lunch for my birthday! I had the Cajun pasta and it was amazing 🥰 and Jeff our host was awesome as well!

We had a wonderful experience. Our server, Timothy, was awesome! The Friday specials for food and drinks were great! We had a wonderful time visiting with our friend in a very nice atmosphere. We went old recommend to all.

Ooops! My lunch date cancelled and I forgot to cancel my reservation. Granite City has been my go-to for casual dining with friends and wife. Also enjoy the option of to-go from Famous Dave's.

Great environment! Great service! Great staff interactions! The wait time for service and delivery of food was minimum. The staff was very attentive. We will return.

The waitress was nice, but the food was terrible. We waited for a long time our food, and it still came out cold yes, the plate was hot but the food was cold. Yes it was Valentine’s Day. It was later in the evening and it was not crowded at the time.

We went on an obviously busy night - v day. But wow, they only had a few servers. Our reservation was at 830, we got a table at 850, got our food at 1030. Left at closing, got the wrong burger and didnt get our soup. I would come again on a day that wasn't so busy.....

My experience at Granite City Food and Brewery was exceptional. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made our Valentine's dinner date even more special. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making for a cozy and intimate dining experience. I thought it was going to be a bit more upscale than what it was. Taste of the food was ok. Food was not very hot. Daughters Alfredo had the dry spots as when noodles get cold. She didn’t complain thought. My burger was cool/luke warm. My son’s chicken sandwich was butchered. When I say butchered I mean it was in three pieces in-between the bread. Each bite cause the pieces to slide out. Not sure why the chicken breast ended up in three pieces. He got the spicy chicken sandwich.
