This place has really gone down hill. The food was cold, service was taking a long time. We were there for the Mother’s Day brunch buffet and let em tell you worst experience ever. We will definitely not be returning!!!!

Hostess was talking with 5 other employees at the main desk, we asked for our table. She rushed us over, put down silverware and left. Didnt say anything , but left us at a table that was filthy and when I went back to ask about getting it cleaned up she was at the front desk talking already. Clearly wasn’t interested in seating my mom and my wife for Mother’s Day anywhere clean

I remember Sunday Brunches being much better. The food they had out was good, but for Mother's Day, I was expecting a lot more. VERY disappointed that the donut bar was no longer available. The desserts in general were nothing to brag about. Note for the chef - make sure those cooks leave the Reggie Hashbrowns in the oven and under the salamander a lot longer. Hot Crispy brown Hashbrowns are a 10, warm soggy Hashbrowns are a 2.

Went for Sunday Brunch on Mothers day. I have been many times before but felt this time the food was not as good or as many choices on the buffet

Out server forgot to bring out one of the plates. My son sat there for 10+ minutes without food. Another persons steak came out with no knife. He was trying to eat it with a butter knife. The server was frazzled and just not attentive. Food was less than impressive. We will not be back.

My wife & I came for the Sunday Brunch on May 5. All of the food was excellent. The prime rib was delicious & tender. Loved the potatoes. All of the fruit was very good. I had one of the drinks for Make a Wish. Thank you for donating. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed the Mexican theme.

Service was terrible day and waited for a long time before being helped. Reservation was at 10:30, we were sat right on time. Did not get greeted until 11:48 and this was done by a waitress that was not assigned to our table as they noticed us waiting. She took our order, in plain sight our assigned waitress yelled at the one trying to help us and just being rude. I asked for the manager and told them about my experience. They seemed understanding and thankful for my feedback. She offered to comp our meal which wasn’t needed but appreciated. At the end, the bill showed up with nothing comped. Again, I wasn’t looking for anything but the lack of follow through was a bit concerning. The food overall was ok, a bit bland for my taste buds but overall ok. Reminded me of an embassy suites breakfast set up with some “higher end” choices.

First off I know it's a brewery restaurant but have some bottles of domestic for those that just can't find a craft beer to their liking. Shocked that on a Friday night at 7pm it was not busy. Nothing special about the food - simply tacos, flatbreads, burgers, prime beef sandwich - could have made any at home better! Server was friendly and nice but no connections to our table of 6 or attempt to connect. She was great on making sure we always had what we needed but no fun or laugher to make us feel welcome or special. Especially when she had time due to lack of people. Table received free bday cookie - no very special and tiny. We ordered carrot cake but no spices and cheesecake was phenomenal. It has been years since we visited and now we know why we avoided it.

Would never come here again. They were seating everyone before us when our entire party was there prior to our reservation time. The manager was in the process of seating us until she realized and told us we had to wait. so we were required to wait until our reservation time and in order for us to even be sat we had to argue in order to get it. Must’ve been a different story if we were just a walk in i guess? They had multiple tables open but we were on a time crunch due to brunch ending at 2PM. We didn’t get sat until almost 1PM leaving us with basically no time to actually enjoy our time to eat as we were there in a celebration for a birthday. The service was extremely poor and was very inconsiderate and i believe 100% there was discrimination happening. The manager needs to be fired for the way she reacted towards us and her demeanor was very bad. She stated she loved her job and was grateful to have one. But doesn’t seem like she loves it enough to treat everyone equally. Including the child in front having attitude when we brought up a concern.

I had the avocado grilled cheese and it was amazing! Drinks were fabulous and had a great price. Will definitely go there again.

Everything was great for our lunch group of 12. Flatbreads were excellent, hot and filling - almost 2 much bacon on the maple pepper bacon flatbread. Server was excellent and attentive. Excellent place for group lunch.

Had a casual business meeting. It wasn’t too loud and the food was good. My favorite is the bbq chicken flatbread. Too bad they don’t have a lunch special with a flatbread and salad. That would be perfect.

We had our favorite server ( Marco G) and as always he greeted us by name and welcomed us. Has flat bread appetizer which was amazing. I ordered the new bbq chicken salad and my husband ordered the new chicken pesto pasta and we both brought food home for lunch the next day. We of course had our growler refilled with our favorite—northern!! We just wish we didn’t have to drive 45 minutes from Morris to enjoy this restaurant. Sure wish they would consider building one in the new casino/ condos (700) project in Joliet.. Thanks again Marco G.

Made reservations for a party of 5. Upon arrival, while there seemed to be plenty of seating in the main area they placed us in the back room (reserved room party area?) with a large party of fathers and sons (separated to encompass a majority of the room). It was extremely loud, to the point we could not hear the conversation at our table. It got to the point we asked to be seated elsewhere and while it took a little time for them to accommodate the group was in the process of wrapping it up and leaving but a lot of lingering around our table ensued. They finally left just as they were about to assign us to another table. We decided to stay in our current location and they said there would not be another large group coming in. We enjoyed several minutes of our meal when the waiter came by and told us a party of 12 is coming. When they arrived it got extremely loud again as there is no sound absorption in that room. The waiter did offer desert on him but while appreciated we were fed up with the noise level.

Marco was an amazing server who met all our needs with a smile and sense of humor. And Kudos to the Chef! My Jambalaya and my buddy’s Meatloaf were absolutely delicious and we will come back and have it all over again!!

Better experience than our last visit. Server very attentive and helpful. Like the food selection. The only negative is, everything struck me as dirty. Booth seat was dirty. Table was sticky. Menus were disgusting.

The two female waitresses that waited on us were so rude & disrespectful that we almost walked out. A male waiter delivered our drinks & then continued to wait on us…he was wonderful. Food was great.

The Sunday brunch is excellent, service & atmosphere is great!! This was our second visit and we were not disappointed!! Will definitely go again for the brunch and also lunch/dinner!! Great restaurant!!

Went on Easter with the entire family, who were all mourning a loved one. We got there right after the brunch ended, so the restaurant was starting to slow down. Got sat at the table, which was dirty and sticky. The server told us that we were his first table, so you would think he would be ready to go. We waited over 30 minutes before he took our drink order. Another 15 minutes to get the drinks. We were there for one and a half hours before he took our food order. He was attentive to his other large group, which sat right next to us. They had their drinks and apps before he even took our drink order. Half of our food came out cold, like it was sitting for quite some time. Cold soup. Did not pre-bus our table. All the other tables left, and they were not cleared until we were finishing up. We were surrounded by dirty tables, our table was full from not being pre-bussed at all, so we started piling our dirty plates to the other dirty tables. Horrible experience. Definitely not what we were hoping for on Easter, on top of mourning our loss.

Their website did not say that their brunch ended at 3:30 pm, even though the reservation we made was for 2:45 pm for their brunch. They were out of many items because it was ending soon.

Very enjoyable Easter brunch! Server was proficient and kind. The brunch was delicious. The only complaint were the biscuits weren’t warm and the carrot cake was on the dry side. We always enjoy eating at Granite City. Friendly welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Thank you.

Everytime i come here, i have been happy and satisfied. With food, taste, ambiance and service. Today also, i was super happy to eat the impossible burger. It was amazing. Real nicely grilled, juicy, on a multigrain bun, with frieds. I truly relished it. My friends got chicken flatbread, soup, and fish tacos, that were amazing too. Overall, highly recommend for business lunch, dinner, including vegetarian meals.

My husband & I decided to go to Granite City's St. Patrick's Day brunch and really enjoyed it. The food was good and we opted for a bottle of American champagne. It was nice that we could choose which juice(s) we wanted with it. They even brought some caramel rolls to the table. Overall, it was a good deal and we got our fill. My husband even commented that he wanted to go back to the St. Patrick's Day brunch again next year! 🍀
