    This was for Father's Day so a bit busy (but less than Christmas Eve). Flow was good. Our server was great - he was an older gentleman and was on top of refills. Area we were in was like an add on, we're the windows go up like a garage door. It was a bit of a walk to other side for food. They opened it for a little bit, shutting three windows to the main area and the door. It was getting pretty warm. Luckly they shut it up after about 10 minutes. And then the people sitting near the door demanded it be opened back up and that cooled it. Food was not very hot. Cinnamon rolls and prime rib/roast were the best and warm. Good variety of food. It had muffins, scones, salad, fruit, shrimp, eggs, hashbrowns, mac and cheese, pasta, jambalaya, French toast, biscuit and gravy, omlet area and desserts. Your server was great as I mentioned. Also much, much better hosts this time. They were polite and on topof it.

    Had reservations for an early Father’s Day lunch for our dad. Got sat in the back room alongside of a long table of families with about seven-year-old soccer players. They were having a blast but It was loud and distracting while we were trying to have conversations and eat our meal. I assume the rest of the restaurant was already full, but with looking around, seemed like we could’ve been sat in a much quieter area of the restaurant to enjoy our afternoon with family.

    Could not accommodate moving one table over due to server having too many guests. Staff at the front desk was not very friendly.

    Service was wonderful, knowledgeable attentive Even offering food suggestions. Good was fantastic. Very happy with our visit.

    Happy Hour is a good deal but make sure to check the menu when you get to the restaurant since it's different online. So don't come too prepared.

    Granite City has been slipping lately and this visit was no exception. We ordered the Idaho Nachos and they were cold, they had obviously been pre made. There were very few intact waffle fries, it was as if we got the bottom crumbs out of the bag. I was surprised they served it. We had our chicken wing enthusiast with us who goes there for their 10 out of 10 wings. He said they were "terrible" and didn't even finish them. One of us ordered a bowl of soup and barely lukewarm. Beverage service was late, glasses sat empty for extended periods of time. Not very busy either. Very disappointing, we'll be giving GC a break for a while.

    Flatbread pizza was a large and plentiful. Liked the thin crust. French onion soup lacked flavor and seemed a bit watered down. Overall the meals were good and do enjoy going there.

    Good and service ok. But it is too noisy. Loud music playing and evidently intentional design of place to not muffle the noise level

    3 out of 4 meals were good; the pot roast was “too oniony”, and we are a family that loves onions!
