good food, comfortable atmosphere nice place to go on a Friday night. One person had the big salmon and thought it was really really good. I had the beer battered cod. It was pretty good as well and the batter was particularly tasty.

I made a reservation for this restaurant and as soon as I arrived, I was basically denied service, because they had “closed for the night.“ So, I can’t talk about how good their food might have been or anything else other than the lackluster service that I had from whoever that lady was that talked to me when I showed up that night.

Food is overpriced and mediocre at best. Music was fine but way way too loud. Drinks were sour and watered down. Burger, which I ordered medium well, was like a brick. Service was slow and unprofessional. Honestly we will never go back.

The experience was very average. The ambiance seemed to be geared toward an older generation (I'm no spring chicken, but I got the impression that patrons in their 60's and up were the target demographic). The $44 steak was ok but lackluster. Not a bad place at all, but at the price point, I expected more.

Everything was delicious! Pleasant surprise!! We originally seated in your large party area, but it wasn't as cozy as in a booth. We asked to move, and the hostess was very accommodating.

I love the GV Tavern! It is a beautiful setting and has a wonderful menu for food and drinks. The service is always friendly and attentive. I've been going for years and highly recommend it as a spot for dinner/happy hour.

I would not recommend the breakfast bowl. Ordered the eggs over easy and sent it back once. Both times the eggs came out hard cooked. Not a good combination of items and very dry. The best thing on the bowl was a piece of avocado. Overall the food in the bowl was not hot. Second egg that was prepared was hot but over cooked. The three people in the group that ordered sandwiches were very satisfied with their food.

I have been here many times and service has always been decent, the food has always been very good, and generally the musical entertainment on weekends is enjoyable. This past visit on Saturday Dec. 30th was not their best effort. Everyone was generally satisfied with what they got BUT - the chicken wings varied in size including 3 or 4 that were so small i could not believe they served them. My biggest issue that night was their Red Snapper dinner special. I wanted it blackened to give a little spice but was advised that it was prepared in a Cajun sauce and i would not need the blackening... wrong, it was a bit bland, not bad but bland. The fish itself, while ok, did not appear in any way to be snapper. It was a thick piece of fish, a bit "meatier" than snapper, and my best guess was they used a piece of cod. I did not finish my meal. It certainly was not snapper. As mentioned, I will be back and I will get the pork chop which is always good. Snapper is not recommended!

All food ordered by our party was very tasty, burgoo, wedge salad, potato, scallops. The scallops were pricey for only three as an entree. Service with Melissa was very good.

I’ve always have a wonderful experience at the Grandview Tavern. I love the live music and have enjoyed the steaks, the salads, the bowls, and the pizzas. My favorite is the bone in ribeye that comes with a delicious baked potato and broccolini. my steak is always perfectly cooked to order and delicious Seasoned and I like the many side choices especially all of the vegetables and salads. The Service is always wonderful.

I had a reservation for two. We were seated right by the door. There were open tables. Every time the door opened, we would feel a blast of cold air. The food was delicious. I just wish we had been seated away from the door.

Our evening was perfect - comfortable, inviting, the beverages and food were tasty. Our wait staff specialist was very helpful, kind, and professional. And with my wife having celiac disease, this establishment is one place she is comfortable going to to eat, drink, and be merry. Staff assists with food and drink that is gluten free and still delicious. Thanks for an amazing time and we will attend again.

We have eaten at Grandview at least 80 times over the past 7 to 8 years, and the food, service, and atmosphere are great. It is our favorite restaurant in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern KY area.
