Les huîtres sont tres moyennes Les serveurs étaient pressés que l’on parte, ils ont débarrassés nos assiettes à peine finies, même pas le temps de commander un dessert que l’addition était sur la table !!

Tye was our bartender. Made fantastic drinks, gave great advice on places to visit on our trip. Wet knowledgeable on the oysters ordered. We would come back any time for his service.

Fresh fried clams, sole and melt in your mouth blue fin tuna!! The Erath pinot grigio wasn’t too bad either!

Rather disappointing as we had heard good things Oysters were good but the main fish courses were not well cooked and the sauce was missing By the time the staff sorted it out the food was cold No good vibe and a little cattle market like. There are much better seafood places such as the ones at Chelsea Market

The Oyster Bar at Grand Central Station is a perennial favorite of mine. Great place to entertain family and friends. Many choices to dine - Saloon/Bar, Counter Service, and Dining Room. Delicious Food. Classic cocktails. Oysters on point! Staff is top notch! Highly recommend. Always Grand!

We did not find the coconut shrimp very tasty. We are from New Orleans so are used to flavorful food.

Very noisy place. No one can carry on any conversation without shouting. Waiter forgot my order and very slow. Over priced and very disappointed per Eater recommendation.

A New York Staple. Takes you back to another time. Oysters cannot be fresher. Huge menu for non-oysters people. Can't ask for more.

Have spent my entire life but had never eaten at the Oyster Bar so we went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I thought it would be a bit of an over-priced tourist trap ands I was right unfortunately. The hostess was so rude and wait staff were so indifferent. They hung out and chatted and pretty much ignored us. Chowder wasn’t hot, they forgot our clams and dinner wasn’t hot and was bland. Never returning.

The raw oysters selection was good. Fish selection was good but pricy, and it did not taste good. The service was OK. I would recommend to go there to have fresh oysters and a drink only.

We had a reservation and were sat promptly, but we sat for 20 minutes and was never approached by a server. I understand Fridays will always be busy but 20 minutes is wild! Would not suggest waiting your time.

Fantastic dining experience at the Oyster Bar. Attentive staff, well-prepared and excellent tasting food. I had grilled scallops. They were succulent. In addition coffee and dessert - Key Lime pie - Were excellent. The desert was made by the chef who has been at the restaurant for 30 years, as I was told by my waiter. Staff was very friendly and enjoyed being in the Grand Central Terminal ambience! Highly recommend.

It's a fun and relaxing location and so good. I asked the waiter to select 2 oysters for me and they were from Maine and tasty! The blue crabmeat cocktail was plentiful and fresh. I had the scallops and my friend and I ordered the rice pilaf and mushrooms as sides. No mushrooms so we ordered the roasted potatoes. Our hearty dishes came out and it was heavy with steamed veggies. The waiter told us that he saw how much veggies were on the plates that he took off the potatoes and didn't charge us. I think she and I had half a roasted potato each and that was enough actually. My scallops were and steamed veggies were good. The rice pilaf was light and fluffy with a nice flavor. I cleaned my plate. It's a huge fun place for everyone. I would go back.

Ridiculously disappointing and extremely overpriced for mediocre food. Waiter served us as if he were doing us a favor. I’m really sad because I wanted to enjoy this landmark, and I would be happy to support the price point if the food and atmosphere offered equivalent value. What a shame!

Food was awful! Fried oysters ( our favorite) were doughy and mushy and had an off taste. Clam chowder had virtually no flavor - mostly made from corn starch and water. Lighting too harsh. This place has really gone downhill.

The Oyster Bar is quite touristy but it is very centrally located, so a good place for people coming from different areas to meet up. The seafood is typically very good but quite pricy. On this visit my friend was disappointed in the crab cakes: too much bread crumbs and not enough crab. I was happy with my lobster roll. We shared the popcorn shrimp to start and they seemed like they had been sitting under a warmer for a while instead of being freshly prepared.
