    Purtroppo il pesce spada alla griglia era congelato all’interno. Inoltre la torta al cioccolato bianco che doveva essere home made era evidentemente confezionata e industriale tanto che la copertura si staccava dal pan di Spagna che era completamente asciutto. Locale molto bello e suggestivo ma il cibo non vale assolutamente il prezzo che ha.

    Oysters and fish here remain excellent after decades of being probably the most reliable fish restaurant in NYC. Not fancy — just great fish and good wine selection (white) for a really nice dinner and really nice evening.

    Overall, it was a decent experience. Service was a bit slow. The waiter helped pick out oysters for me and they were great. I got the crabcakes and was not a fan of the red sauce. I thought they would have been better with an aioli. Fries were good. My husband got pasta and thought it was good. It was very loud and a little hard to talk.
