I took my wife here as we had visited once before 14 years ago and had good memories of the food and staff, this time did not disappoint either, a great steak and wine, would definitely recommend thee staff make the event memorable

Restaurant was recommended to us by a local person from Vancouver while we were on our cruise - decided to try it out It was excellent - the ambience was fantastic Our waiter. His name is Jasper. Was very attentive, and willing to teach us everything he knew about the restaurant, as he’s been working there for many many years He was kind enough to even give us a tour We felt extremely special Thank you to Gotham steakhouse for a fantastic experience and good quality Steaks

My bf and I came in for a lovely dinner for date night. We felt so welcome, looked after and the food was delicious. We had the crab cake and beet salad to start, the Porterhouse steak, mushroom fries, creamed spinach, and baked potato. Rio was our server and he did a fantastic job being attentive but not overly. He had good timing with checking on our dishes, taking orders, and table maintenance. Alana came over to chat with us (she’s the new manager) and we had a bit of a mixup with scheduling (on my end) so she was very sweet and understanding and even went out of her way to give us a special treat. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Our first time visit at Gotham was absolutely wonderful! Our server, Rio was also amazing! We had the chowder, beef carpaccio, crab cake, steak and lobster, and garlic prawns! The food was absolutely so delicious. The chowder wasn't too heavy but it was very nice start to a dinner. Beef carpaccio with the paramasan was really good with the aragula because it balanced the flavors. Our server recommended family style when we were ordering our mains, which was perfect because we didn't eat much.

this was our first visit to gotham and we went to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. rio was our server and he hit top 5 best servers of my life. every single thing was exceptional. all the staff were lovely. i’m very picky and i can’t find one thing bad to say. you definitely pay for what you get but it’s worth it. well done and we will be back!

Amazing experience at Gotham. We ate at the dining area and our server Jamie was so sweet! Really know what he is talking about and suggested great recommendations! We ordered the rib eye and the veal and it was the best steak ever! You have to try their portobello mushroom chips! Fully and flavour just bursting in your mouth. Servers were very attentive, filled water without asking. We will definitely return and try their social hour!

Service is yes top notch here but for these crazy high prices, yes, it better be! (: I had yet to dine anywhere where a steak was 50 dollars AND up to wow over 200 dollars and yet they cannot even throw a 50 cents/1 dollar potato in without charging an extra over 8 dollars!, plus extra tax on a potato! This did not please me at all as a super money grab to the very max. I now cannot not remember this unfortunately! At least beers were 9 dollars each and not like 12! (PLUS TAXES!) It is more like casino or hockey game prices, not a super fancy restaurant with an already very sky high pricing menu. All sides were tons extra is the thing too! I just had a tough time getting around this money full grab.

Another seminal Vancouver institution that has morphed into a the proverbial tourist trap (I'm looking at you, Joe Forte's!). Gotham used to be THE steakhouse back in the day but now? Stunningly average. For the price, there are significantly better dining options out there. Even with the dim lighting you could tell that it's in need of a refresh. Sides were ok as were the steaks we had (NY Strip / Filet). Slow demise of what was once the gold standard of steakhouses in Vancouver.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. We are definitely coming back and has easily become a go-to for outings.
