Good Enough to Eat has served American home cooking in the Upper West Side since 1981. Visitors from all over the world come to Good Enough to Eat to enjoy classic American food. They sit side by side with Upper West Side “regulars". The appetite for wholesome, authentic, traditional American food only seems to be growing.

Please note we only take reservations for dinner,if you are hankering for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, please feel free to stop by.

It was a great experience but a little overpriced. Wonder why we pay a tip based on the sales tax included. The eggs benedict, priced at $19 and $4.50 for coffee was excessive. Thank you

Great to revisit this neighborhood gem after so many years (I went twice in the last couple of weeks). It was as good as I remembered when it was this tiny little place on Amsterdam Avenue around 80th Street back in the day. But, because of their new format (different menus for afternoon and evening / Good Enough to Eat and Tellios) , I was a little disappointed that they took "The Day After Thanksgiving" dish off the menu. Bring it back. It's a winner! I did have two great brunches and it did not disappoint. I will return.

The overall experience was nice, food was great, we were looking for a quiet spot where we could talk, and it was nice in that respect. It was a cute comfortable place. The only downside was the wait staff were sullen and seemed offended to be there working. I will give them a pass since it was the day after Christmas- and well you know…

Very good. Fresh breakfast and very pleasant server. We went at 10 am on a weekday so not crowded.

GEtoE has been a to favorite for decades. So many dear memories and wonderful meals have been shared here. My brunch favorite has been eggs with corned beef hash. Unfortunately, I couldn’t eat them this visit. In past, corned beef was in nice chunks, fresh & moist. Instead, it appeared ugly, dried out, tasted old as did potatoes. So sad to think the quality of their food has come to this. Hopefully, it is a one off, as this place has significant sentimental history. Desserts still looked homemade, delicious and fresh.

Food quality was good although not special. The restaurant overall was not the cleanest. Service personnel were very attentive.

Very good food near the museum of natural history. Service and ambience leave a lot to be desired. The restaurant was not busy when we were there and the welcome was impersonal and cold. Entrées were delicious and desserts not worth it. Good food and good value.
