Great service and ambiance. The fine pianist played so loud we barely were able to have a conversation without shouting!

Loved our dinner at the Bee in the historic Broadmoor. I’ve wanted to see and experience the hotel for years. The Bee is a stylish tavern offering Gastropub type food. I had the lamb shank and my husband enjoyed the short rib stew. The food was very good. Our service was exceptional. Our waitress was personable and informative regarding the menu and the hotel. If you are in the area you must stop in.

The food is really good. One of the best pastrami sandwich’s I have had.

First of all the parking was a joke. I got there at 11:20 and had to park across the street in the lot. Instructions were very poor. I ended up having to pay $60 for parking!!!!! That was for 2 hours. Next, the server was nice but confused. I asked for a salad and got french fries instead. When we were finished with our meal another server came to the table with food for someone else. Not sure what was going on but I expected top notch service and food. I will not be recommending the Golden Bee to anyone. So sad.

The Golden Bee is a cozy space designed to mimic a British pub. It is quite charming and evocative of those that are found all over London— without the rowdiness. The food was very good and the service impeccable. Everyone is very professional, as well as courteous, helpful, and friendly. They have a ritual of “ throwing” a small embroidered bee at diners. Odd, but cute. There is a small area when you walk in/leave in which you can purchase Golden Bee take-aways— like the cute Golden Bee napkins. I shall use mine as a bar towel. Dress is more casual than other Broadmoor restaurants. Lots of people were wearing jeans with nice tops, as well as country club casual attire.
