With the intent to respect the environment and promote environmentally sustainable practices, Glen Prairie Fine Food & Drink (1250 Roosevelt Rd., Glen Ellyn, Ill.), is a local farm sourced fine dining restaurant with contemporary American cuisine. The cuisine emphasizes hearty meat, pasta and seasonal dishes utilizing meats, poultry and produce farmed locally or from across the country from farms practicing sustainable farming methods and celebrates the joys of artisanal cooking. Even the takeout containers are compostable and made from sugarcane rather than petroleum based plastics.

Glen Prairie’s menu is designed to emphasize seasonal ingredients to showcase a variety of American flavors. The restaurant team shops local farmers' markets several times a week to source fresh ingredients.

Had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and all I could taste in the pulled pork bbq sauce was mustard, no other flavor, the Mac and cheese was phenomenal though

Our dinner was outstanding and plated beautifully. I think that the bread is a little crusty. The table and chairs are very comfortable. We were there on a Wednesday early so it was quiet but we've been there in the weekend and does get louder. Our waitress was pleasant and on top of things. Parking can be tight. I think anybody that goes here will be Happy with the menu and choices, great value and a pleasant atmosphere.

I think your portions are too small for what you charge. The food quality is good, but not where I'm leaving hungry after spending about forty bucks. You have a nice place there, but I will not be back.

The food is always excellent here, and we like how the menu changes from time to time. Our service was very good, as well, and we would recommend Glen Prairie to anyone.

Glen Prairie never disappoints. they lean way into a GF menu, and with a recent celiac diagnosis, i SO appreciate how easy they make it seem to accommodate me. their food is delicious and the staff aims to please. always enjoyable

My friend and I decided to share a few appetizers and have the French Onion soup and it was all delicious! A favorite spot, I always enjoy my visits here!

Great experience! Drinks, food, service- all top notch. Almost any menu item is or can be made gluten free. The short ribs are melt in your mouth tender and so flavorful!
