Waited years to get a reservation. Food, service, ambiance, and value were great. The pappardelle with wild boar was the best pasta dish I have ever had.

Excellent menu (and preparation) for those who are looking for something beyond typical Italian. Wonderful ambiance and table arrangement. Great place for a romantic dinner or two "best friends" couples; there's a feeling of intimacy about the place. I would not necessarily recommend it for large parties.

This was truly the best restaurant experience I had in Boston, and one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I could not more highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was authentic and phenomenal. The service was outstanding.

Consistently amazing. I’ve been dining here for 10 years and I’ve never been disappointed. The pasta program is phenomenal, your staple dishes continue to remain consistently delicious, and service is thoughtful. Last night we got the rabbit pasta which happened to have pork and we were not notified in advance (one guest does not eat pork). Chef sent out a vegetarian dish to supplement the small error. That gesture was much appreciated. Finally, our server was very charismatic and patient with us. Bravo!

Giulia continues to turn out very creative pasta dishes, along with interesting first courses, desserts, and a selective wine list. The service was very cordial, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the evening. Note that the pasta dishes are not particularly large, but the flavors are quite rich and intense, so you are trading quantity for exceptional quality. All of which comes at a pretty hefty price, but what Giulia provides is hard to find elsewhere in Boston, and you will leave with very fond memories of what you have enjoyed.

Excellent food and service. Getting a reservation is difficult and the restaurant would do a favor to folks opening up reservations up to 3-4 weeks ahead instead of the current 2 weeks.

Our party of 4 had a wonderful meal! Every dish was spectacular! The best broccoli I’ve ever eaten. All of the pasta dishes were amazing! We ordered the steak to share fore the table!! Incredible flavor! If we are ever in Boston again we will definitely be returning!!

The food is excellent. The wait staff helpful and attentive. The space is warm if a bit cramped. Our only complaint is that the restaurant opened its doors to a long line of walk-ins whom they seated first ahead of people (like us) with reservations. We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived early. The hostess apologized while seating us that there weren’t any menus left to give us when we were seated. Then, after our waitress enticed us to order one of the sfizi specials, she came back to tell us that they were already sold out because the walk-ins at the bar had grabbed them all up. Wouldn’t it make sense to seat those with reservations first?

Giulia is our go-to for celebrations. The food is consistently excellent and the service, always top-notch, just keeps getting better. Little touches, like a server noticing that I'd dropped my napkin and offering me a fresh one, stand out. Reservations are a challenge, so consider getting there early for a seat at the bar if you can't get a table.

Pasta with bolognese was not great, had way too much rosemary in it, very tasteless. The citrus salad was mediocre. Do not recommend.

Every step of the dining experience was superb. The hostess was warm, courteous and welcoming. Our waiter, Mike, was also warm, very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was well prepared and delicious. All in all a great experience. I would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Giulia’s was outstanding! The freshly made pasta was fantastic. In particular the wild boar pappardelle and the Brussels with prosciutto were fantastic. Service and atmosphere were top notch. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

The space is lovely, and everyone was attentive and friendly. The food ranged from good (e.g., semolina cakes, tagliatelle) to great (e.g., brussels spouts, bucatini). Given the hype and price tag, I was a little underwhelmed, but maybe we didn’t order the “right” things. I’d be willing to give it another try!
