Great food! Amazing fish, wonderful service. The place could use a little bit of paint/freshening. Overall though good really shines!

Went here after a long time, and it’s still the best sushi I’ve found in the peninsula, especially if you’re having sake with it. They’re experts and will guide you to the right sake for you

I’ve been to many of the best sushi restaurants in the US and Gintei is superior to many! Super fresh fish, and each dish was made with care. The simple, sophisticated ambience tied everything together. My only recommendation is to remove the payment tablets from the large tables in the dining room. I felt this detracted from the beauty and sophistication of the space. There are so many more positive things I could say about Gintei. I’m looking forward to my next visit! G

Went for valentines dinner. Prefix for $120 pp. service was fast and food was great sampling of sushi, sashimi, steak with appetizer, soup and dessert.
