Impeccable, friendly service and exceptionally tasty and creative dishes - crab cakes and scallops are particularly delicious - with healthy portions and yet they still are played like art! Doesn’t hurt that the views can’t be beat, even for Malibu, and the atmosphere is warm and casual, not pretentious at all.

Terrible management. We arrived for our Mother’s Day reservation on time only to be told our table would not be ready because the party before us was overstaying their time slot. Our group travelled an hour to make the reservation only to end up waiting an additional 35 minutes before being seated. We were not acknowledged or told our table would be delayed. I booked this reservation two months in advanced.. but I guess there’s no use in reserving since they clearly do not honour the times… especially on special occasions like Mothers Day. It’s unfortunate because the food, waitress and atmosphere of the place is great but we will not be returning after this experience.

Geoffrey’s restaurant provided the perfect venue for a pre-Mother’s Day dinner for two! From the exceptional food to the outstanding service and the incredible ocean view from our table everything was absolutely perfect! We were visiting from the East Coast, but if ever back in Malibu, we will most certainly plan come back to Geoffrey’s!

The new chef switched up recipes and took of items on menu. The herb crusted salmon doesn’t taste the same and the no longer have the wedge salad.

Beautiful and relaxing. Food is superb. Drinks were whatevers but it’s probably because I got a lava flow instead of a martini haha. Get the fish and lobster salad

The view from the outdoor dining area is not exactly the same as the pictures online. There are buildings that block a lot of the view. The food was bland and the drinks were not the best tasting. I drove from Long Beach to have brunch there on my birthday and I don't think I will go there again.

People are very nice. I am always put off and disturbed by the way you add the parking to the bill ( I know you are tricking me into trying for bigger total tip amount ) . My enjoyment is further disturbed by the 3% fee. That’s just not right . Just be honest with your repeat customers ( I have been there a lot) and include it in the food charge ? ( hey , why not just increase parking costs :) Anyway, for me I love your place, but you do a lot to push me and my friends and business associates, away !! Why don’t you want your customers to be happy and feel good about returning ? Now I honestly try to block the feeling I get of my perceived mistreatment. You get 90% very right! Remember, this in America.. please.

This was our second visit to Geoffrey’s for dinner. Everything about this restaurant is excellent. The main course menu includes mostly seafood and beef. They also have great appetizers and desserts. Finally we have been seated outside on the deck overlooking the ocean on both visits with a spectacular view. It’s not inexpensive but it’s worth it.

We are locals to Santa Barbara, Malibu and Geoffrey’s. In the reservation, made months in advance, we asked for a table at the far end of the restaurant with a view. We spoke directly to the staff three times about this and our 65th birthday celebration. Since we have eaten there many times over many years we knew where we wanted the table and had specially asked for it. We were given the worst table in the restaurant near the hostess table. The hostess and then manager curtly dismissed our dissatisfaction. No change was offered. The restaurant clearly does not want locals and only tourists who won’t be back. We reached out to ownership using the card at the hostess table but never received a reply. No problem we won’t be back.

Our waiter, Ray, was wonderful and made the experience even better. Alan was very nice and came to talk to us as well. We had a small private table in the garden with the most magnificent view, and it was just the perfect night. We were celebrating my husband’s graduation with my in laws and you all made it every special. Thank you!!

Great experience. I really disliked the 1st table I was seated at, but the crew was kind of enough to seat us at table with a better view(view was the main reason to attend). Food was solid. Our waiter Jason was stellar. All in all great time.

What a lovely way to spend our anniversary dinner! Our server, Drew, took good care of us - he answered questions and was friendly & available, but never intrusive. The patio seating made it easy to have a quiet, intimate conversation. We shared delicious appetizers - crab cakes and ahi tuna tartar (both on wonderful sauces.) For dinner I had the scallops and my husband had the filet. Both were really good - cooked to perfection, ample quantity (we both took half home.) For dessert (we just had to have dessert...) we shared the yummy apple tart! Valet parking was easy and prompt in delivering our car ($15 charge is added to your tab if you choose to valet - parking on PCH can be tricky.) While Geoffrey's is pricey, it is an excellent choice for a special occasion.

Fabulous view and excellent service. Great selection of wine at reasonable prices. But, unfortunately, the food disappointed. The Ahi tuna tartar was mushy The spicy fried oysters and the corn chowder were FABULOUS. The 12 oz prime New York steak was good, but for $75 it underwhelmed. Only 50% success on the food Maybe next time enjoy the view early with just drinks and appetizers and then go somewhere else for dinner.....

The table location and view was great. The service could have been better as far as a smile and a bit more attention to details. The food was tasty. I would like to see a bit more encouraging for a dress code that at the very least requires male guests to wear pants. Sweat-shorts and athletic wear should not be allowed for dinner. The influx of attire that was athletic wear affected my overall experience.

We went for anniversary dinner - asked for table with view - we were sat right at the edge of patio overlooking water (and a few houses so no waves). We had not been before, and loved it. We will definitely return Service was fantastic Drinks were strong like I like them

The ambiance was great. Loved the food , the scenery, the staff. It was the perfect dinner date for my anniversary with my partner. I appreciate &’ am thankful for our server Hans for his kind words about our anniversary, his recommendations on food, drinks &’ dessert &’ making the experience greater than it already was. Our Waiter was Will and he was attentive without being invasive with suggestions for the menu that were spot on and delicious! We sat outside and were watching the pelicans fishing as we had our meal, a lovely surprise. It was our first time eating there, but it will not be the last time. We live in the Seattle area, but travel to So Cal regularly and will be returning to eat here when in town. The manager of the restaurant came by the table to make sure everything was satisfactory and was very cordial and his concern added to the feel good experience we had there.

Great looking place nice view ,Food was horrible starting with the appetizers no flavor Filet mignonall dried up even after requesting medium rare they were out of lobster mushrooms so hard and chewy the only thing good they had going was having the wine we always drink but after requesting 2 one they didn’t have it

Couldn't ask for better weather, and honestly I don't think there's a bad table at this restaurant which is rare these days. Service is outstanding, from the valet to the manager. Food was excellent, but my swordfish was way overcooked and extremely dry. Waiter AND manager made sure my replacement dish was served ASAP and handled the situation as good as could be expected. All in all we had a really good experience.

Service was good. It was very busy so it was very noisy. The thing I was most disappointed in was the food. My husband ordered the whole lobster. Presentation was nice but the lobster was overcooked and chewy. I ordered the paella which had only ONE scallop and 2 prawns and had a few mussels and clam shells but they were empty and seemed to be used mostly for presentation. The chicken in the paella was so dry it was inedible. We also got the ahit tartare which was probably the best part of the meal and sadly the wonton chips were stale. This restaurant also adds a 4% service fee to cover the increased cost of what they pay the employees . The setting is beautiful and I had not been here in several years and I most likely won’t race back.

Beautiful Saturday. Wait staff couldn’t have been nicer. Had the filet with eggs. Filet was cooked perfectly with a delicious chimichurri sauce. The eggs were some of the best I have ever had.

One of my all time favorites been coming here for over 50 years. Everything is perfect from the time when I pull up and the guys take my car the hostesses always seating me within a couple minutes to the table and as long as you’re there in the daytime the view is beautiful, the food is always delicious I recommend the espresso martini, corn chowder, and the oysters to start. The menu has just enough variety always perfect for Brunch with a quick walk on the beach after makes the whole experience perfect.

Salmon was great. Filet mignon was butterflied and was tough and with lots of fat. Hard to believe that was filet mignon.
