Niché dans une petite rue latérale peu connue de Piccadilly ce restaurant Gaucho offre un peu de la Pampa et de Buenos Aires relocalisés au cœur du West End. Dès que vous entrez dans le restaurant l'arôme du grésillement de la viande sur feu ouvert vous frappe. En plus du steak nous offrons une sélection d'autres plats, incluant le poisson, le poulet, le ceviche et des plats végétariens. Wonderful evening to celebrate my sons 21st. We were superbly looked after by the lovely Edderson. He was charming and friendly and really helpful. Great food and a fantastic night.

We got a last-minute reservation and we’re so glad we did. The steaks were delicious, as was the hamachi ceviche and the wine. Ambience was excellent…lovely but also cozy. And great value!

The restaurant filled quickly ahead of 13:00 but service was well paced and 'accurate' as in you got what you wanted. The food is very good, portions fine without being excessive, the wine list is where there is an issue, at £50 for a quite acceptable but not exceptional NZ Sauvignon is a bit heavy and made the bill 50% for drinks and service.

We came all the way from belfast to London and your restaurant was top of our list of places to go. It didn’t disappoint we loved it the service and staff were lovely and kind the food was amazing always wanted to try ceviche and I loved it 🥰my husband is big into his fillet steak and raved that yours was the best. So thank you so much we will definitely be back next time we are here ❤️

Our waiter, Edison was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. He smiled through the whole service & helped with dinner choices with knowledge & professionalism. Due to intolerances, meal was plant-based even though it's a meat based restaurant & it was delicious.

I had an amazing experience. The restaurant is very classy and suitable for both lunch and dinner. The steak I had during my visit was both juicy and very flavourful paired with the jus sauce I had. My server for the visit was Manuel, who was very professional and friendly. I will definitely be coming back and I 100% recommend the restaurant.

I found that the staff lacked sufficient knowledge about the menu options, which led to inadequate guidance when selecting dishes. This resulted in delays after our meal was served, as we had to place additional orders for condiments and other items.

My experience was poor in comparison to the last time. The food took a long time to come out the waiter’s give us the menu with just a cocktail list, when asked for a wine list we had to asked twice. Also, I booked a window table in the restaurant and the notes were not looked at on the booking, I was offered a table beside the kitchen or a table in the bar. I was eventually given a booth seat on insisting, the food eventually came with us still having to wait for the prawns…..I was told that the fish took long to cook…. This is actually a joke as if anyone knows fish it’s one of the easiest meal to cook. Poor service the brownie was cold with horrible white chocolate ice cream.

Gaucho is very reliable Sausage starter was big enough to share and nice variety. Steaks were perfect and a special mention for the humito (whipped sweet corn and cream cheese with a kick). Round off with a refreshing rum laced ice cream. Wine was fair value and top notch.

We booked Gaucho Piccadilly with great motivation for the Easter dinner with family. Starters were ok but nothing amazing. We ordered a Gaucho sample plate to share (£130) and when arrived the meat was much overcooked and cold. We told them and brought the meat in the kitchen. When they brought the meat we discovered that they cooked the meat again so we sent it back. For the money they asked it absolutely doesn't work. The service was ok but nothing of the level expected in such a place. At least they did not charge the meat plate but at the end they ruined our easter dinner in london.

A mixed bag I’m afraid - food was good but overall a disappointing evening. We had to be moved tables as the original we were given was excessively wobbly and couldn’t be fixed, the wrong starter was brought meaning one of our party had to eat on their own (no apology) and mains were brought to the table before the starters had been cleared. Service was disorganised and impersonal. I’m afraid I won’t be returning and would struggle to recommend.
