Welcome to the Gaffel Haus Berlin, probably the most beautiful Cologne brewery restaurant east of Cologne. You will find us in the middle of Berlin-Mitte between the TV Tower & the Reichstag and only 47.11 meters from Friedrichstraße. On foot you can reach the Friedrichstadtpalast, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Museum Island or the Gendarmenmarkt in only about 10 minutes. The S & U train station Friedrichstraße is only 3 minutes away. You can expect the best traditional German cuisine with a Rhenish touch. From A like apple strudel to Z like pike-perch fillet, everything is prepared fresh daily with selected ingredients from renowned suppliers from the Rhineland and quality-conscious local producers by our kitchen team with a lot of love for you. This is also appreciated by our returning guests from A like the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany to Z like the kitwart of the 1st FC Cologne.

Wer rheinische Atmosphäre und typisches Essen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Speisen und das Kölsch lecker. Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer.

Just an excellent location with plenty of atmosphere, great food and good service and beer. Went back today for a couple of beers and their seasonal spargel. We were not disappointed. Would highly recommend this establishment. Value for the money is great as well. I made a reservation online for the same evening.

Wir hatten für 6 Personen einen Tisch reserviert, wir wurden schnell an einen Tisch gesetzt. Essen war wundervoll und richtig große Portionen. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Great beer. Food menu has lots of delicious options especially if you would like to try some German cuisine. Location is fantastic....just a short walk from the Friedrichstr station.

Gaffel in Berlin, irgendwie ein Stück Heimat für alle Kölnerinnen und Kölner. Ich fühle mich da immer wie am Alter Markt. Service und Essen wie immer top und es wird auch Kölsch gesprochen.

Wir bedauern sehr das es Ihnen bei uns nicht gefallen hat und wir Sie auch nicht mit unserem Essen überzeugen konnten. Das wir es besser können sieht man am weit überwiegenden Teil der Bewertungen. Vielleicht geben Sie uns ja noch eine zweite Chance?! Was wir leider nicht ändern können ist die Akustik die einfach entsteht wenn das Restaurant voll ist. Wir haben aber auch ruhigere Ecken und wenn Sie uns das bei der Reservierung vorab wissen lassen, versuchen wir Sie natürlich auch etwas ruhiger zu platzieren.

We decided to try some authentic German fare and reading the reviews gaffel house looked good.. we were not disappointed.. the atmosphere was great the beer was cold and the wine was crisp and tasty.. we tried the pork meatballs which were tasty (if a little too much sauce) I had the tarte flambaee which was really tasty with a lovely thin crispy base .. we finished with the apple strudel.. it had to be tried in Berlin! Absolutely delicious!!! Our waitress was amazing .. so experienced and great at her job .. service was excellent and we even got some cooking tips .. im gonna make the fried potatoes at home ,. They were so tasty.. overall a great experience and well worth a visit

Ein rundherum positiver Abend. Gute Küche, äußerst nette Bedienung. Leider etwas laut für eine entspannte Unterhaltung, obwohl der Tisch am Rand lag. Trotzdem gern wieder.

Wir sind jetzt schon öfters im Gaffel Haus gewesen. Dieses Mal war es etwas nervig, dass wir mehrmals darauf hingewiesen wurden, dass der Tisch für 2 Stunden für uns reserviert ist. Beim zweiten Mal wurde uns schon gleich die Rechnung präsentiert. Ansonsten hat es uns wie immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen bestimmt auch mal wieder.

Ein gemütlicher abend mit Kollegen. Leider wurde die Buchungsnummer wohl nicht mit dem Namen abgespeichert an der Rezeption, da einigen Kollege gesgat wurde es gäbe keine Buchung unter dem Namen . Aber am Ende kein Problem.

Wir waren als Gruppe dort und werden garantiert wiederkommen. Die Bestellungen wurden immer schnell entgegengenommen und waren schnell am Tisch. Obwohl wir kurz vor Küchenschluss da waren, wurden wir trotzdem schnell mit leckerem Essen versorgt. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön!!!

Wir sind regelmäßig mindestens, aller vier Wochen im Gaffelhaus. Es gefällt uns eigentlich jedes Mal, selbst wenn , zwar selten, beim Essen etwas nicht gelingt. So zum Beispiel beim Braten der Leber, sie war zu scharf gebraten, dadurch trocken. Trotzdem kommen wir wieder und gern.
