La vision d'une cuisine à la fois abordable et élégante dans une ambiance de club social du chef Sean A. Wight a pris forme au Frog Hollow Tavern. Situé au niveau du pâté de maisons 1200 de Broad Street, cet espace est une interprétation moderne du « resto-bar » où des personnes de divers horizons apprécient de passer un agréable moment ensemble en profitant d'une atmosphère confortable, d'un service minutieux et d'une délicieuse cuisine à un prix abordable. Le menu fait très largement honneur aux produits locaux et régionaux de saison, garantis de la meilleure qualité, et propose également des libations uniques qui animent le bar d'une ambiance vivante et sympathique. La carte des vins, qui compte plus d'une centaine de vins raffinés, met l'accent sur des produits issus de la viticulture durable, biologique ou biodynamique. Dinner at Frog Hollow was outstanding! I started with the Mussels in a Thai Coconut Curry broth, which was bursting with flavor. The mussels were very fresh and delicious. My husband had the wedge salad, which he raved about, and the Sausage appetizer, which is his usual go to because it is so good. My husband had the Scallops over risotto for his entree and loved it. The scallops were well cooked and the risotto was flavorful. I opted for the Halibut, but switched it out for what came with the scallops. It was fantastic! The fish was perfectly cooked and very fresh. The risotto and the tomato base it was on was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend switching it out if you want the Halibut, but prefer it done differently. We waited a bit for dessert, finishing an excellent bottle of wine, but then finally decided on the deconstructed strawberry shortcake and the creme brulee. Both were delicious! Frog Hollow never disappoints. We are looking forward to our next night out dining here.

Overall, I felt the experience was outstanding. I especially liked the attentiveness and friendliness of my server. The creamed kale was wonderful, and the cook on my steak was perfect. However, I was not a fan of the strawberry salad.

The staff was friendly, menu was easy to read. The food I ordered was the cowgirl ribeye with Yukon potatoes with French fries. Every thing was so salty that my tongue started burning. Ambience was fantastic.

First time dining here. Well known restaurant in the area. Service was excellent and food was very good. Fritz was very prompt and tentative. Good recommendations. Definitely enjoyed our experience and would return!

This was our second visit to Frog Hollow Tavern. We were promptly seated (with reservations). Our server, Fritz, was humorous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Overall we had a delightful birthday dinner. My wife and I will return for our anniversary.

Our dinner was outstanding and our server, Fritz, made the event an evening out rather than just a dinner out. Following his recommendations we enjoyed excellent wedge salad and scallops. Fritz’s wit, charm and knowledge of the menu was greatly appreciated by myself and my two guests. A extremely enjoyable evening..

An absolutely stupendous birthday outing with a perfect meal status given in every way from the incredible cocktails to our waiter Fritz. Great cocktails from the bar to start off. Halibut was excellent asparagus soup was rich with lumps of crab. Fries were delicious and 1 order enough for 4 servings. Service was prompt and professional.

Stefani is an excellent server and made the meal memorable. Her appetizer and entree recommendations were spot on and she made sure we were happy during the whole experience at Frog Hollow.

We had a reservation and arrived about 5 min before our reserved time. We had to wait until about 20 minutes past our reserved time to be seated, which was annoying. Once seated, service was timely and we didn’t have any long waits between courses. The food was delicious- we had Mac and cheese, oysters rockerfeller, pork chops and soft shell crab. The Mac and cheese was a highlight and perfectly seasoned. The soft shell crab was also really good. The pork and the rice that came with the crab were a bit over salted, but hopefully just a one time mishap. Would try this place again.

First time to the amazing restaurant. Beside the really good cocktails and dishes, the person who made us welcomed was our waitress Nicole. What a gem. She made great recommendations and we had wonderful chats in between. Highly recommend this restaurant in Augusta.

The start was rough. Parking was a nightmare and the hostess refused to sit our party until my husband found a parking spot. She was rude. Thankfully, our server was outstanding and the food was fabulous! Great dinner spot if you ever find yourself in Augusta.

Frog Hollow continues to be one of the best restaurants in the CSRA! We started with the Mussels, which were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and most importantly-super fresh, and the Andouille Sausage which was fabulous. Entrees were the restaurant's always delicious special Pork Chop, this time with roasted butternut squash and apples, and the Short Rib, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We passed on dessert this time around. The place was busy, but the wait staff were attentive, friendly, but always professional. Frog Hollow is a true gem. If you haven't been there yet- run, don't walk!!
