    Wish it was more clear that it was a buffet on events rather than a special menu. Felt like I was at a casino buffet, did not feel worth the $45 ahead

    Freda’s always has excellent food and service. Normally a very calm and elegant atmosphere, but given it was Mother’s Day, the activity level of understandable.

    Mother’s Day lunch buffet was very busy early. Waited unusually long time to be seated even though we were 5 minutes early. On second request for seating, we were seated in area with lots of empty space. Fortunately our table was not in immediate area of buffer tables which was very congested. Plenty of seafood choices as well as carving table for ham and prime rib but limited vegetable choices. Food was tasty and staff kept it restocked well. Wait staff were attentive and polite. We are not usually excited about buffets because they are hectic and crowded but this one was tolerable. Prefer to dine at Freida’s for regular dinner experience.

    Excellent Mother's Day brunch and all 10 of us enjoyed our meal. There were even enough items to make our one non-seafood person happy. I highly recommend Freda's if you've never been there!!

    Usually enjoy going to Freda’s but they must’ve had an off day. Our reservation was for 7:15pm but didn’t get seated until 7:45pm. While we noticed it was probably busy due to prom and graduation, it would’ve been nice if the delay had been communicated to us, to set the expectation. I had to ask about the status of our wait only to be received with a defensive tone. We received our drinks and appetizers in a timely fashion, however it took at least 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive, around 9pm. And the food runners kept bringing the wrong dishes to us before delivering it to the correct table (it happened 3 times). Our server was very nice and gave us an extra complimentary birthday crème brûlée.

    Since moving to Cedar Park 5 years ago, and discovering Freda's, it has become our place to go for special occasions. We had our 50th wedding anniversary there in the private party room. It was perfect. This last visit was for Mother's Day and it was great as always. Fantastic food, excellent service, fair prices and a lovely setting. It is our favorite go to restaurant.

    We had a family gathering of 10 in our celebration party for early dinner. The service, cocktails and appetizers were excellent. We were sitting on the open air patio when it began to rain between appetizers and main course. The restaurant saved the evening by being quick to move us inside to two adjacent tables, even though they were booked solid. Main courses, drinks and dessert were delicious. Recommended by the matriarch in our party, Freda’s did not disappoint. We’ll be back!

    The food was delicious and our server was very attentive. My only complaint is that my husband & I were seated in the back room and there were several large and very noisy parties, which took away from our dining experience.

    We enjoyed our dinner here celebrating our daughter’s graduation from UT. The food and service was good. The manager even came by to apologize and take care of one of our meals being wrong and had the correct dish out immediately. We will definitely be back.
