Moved from Sacramento to San Diego 9 years ago. Can't find honey walnut prawns like the ones at Frank Fats. When I come to Sacramento to visit family, it is a MUST go to restaurant. I challenge anyone to find better honey walnut prawns. If in San Diego, let me know. Their anniversary special which is always available is a great deal!!

What a great experience from beginning to end! We were seated right away and water was brought out right away. The staff was clearly respectful of guests’ lunch hour constraints - order was taken shortly after seating and food arrived quickly - and yet the staff made you feel like you had all day. Excellent food, and even better service. Thank you!

Iconic restaurant with really good food. We had sampler appetizers, the balls w meat inside were outstanding. The Mongolian beef and honey walnut dishes were excellent and the chowmein was good. The Fat family has given their lives to their restaurants and Sacramento. Thanks for a lifetime of memories of your restaurants we’ve enjoyed since 1973!

Frank Fat’s was a delicious and fun donner! The General Tsao’s chicken is fabulous as was the banana creme pie f dessert. Kudos to the chef and our efficient server, Sherry.

Took my mom for Mother’s Day. — she loved it! She’s always heard of it, but had never been to the flagship. Service was excellent. Food was great definitely recommend.

Frank Fat’s is always a favorite dining experience. The food is always the best - tasteful, well-presented, fresh and so delicious. Staff are courteous and attentive. Water glasses always full (important if pick a spicy dish!), any need addressed. Always a wonderful experience. And our choice for Mother’s Day lunch!
