« Sans conteste la meilleure cuisine que vous trouverez dans le quartier Fisherman's Wharf de San Francisco » a déclaré le Sunset Magazine. Le Franciscan Crab, institution du Fisherman's Wharf depuis 1957, a été entièrement rénové. Murs carrelés en blanc, superbe bar en marbre et fenêtres de 6 mètres donnant sur la baie et Alcatraz.     Very nice restaurant with the view of the harbor. We had crab and seafood pasta. Our waiter was very good, don’t recall his name but he was always around when we needed his help. Definitely recommend if you like seafood with lots of butter sauce 😊

    Our waiter was very friendly and told us a story about Alcatraz. Restaurant wasn’t very busy when we went, so atmosphere was quiet, which was nice. We had the clam chowder which was very good. We had the clams which had a tomato based sauce which was tasty and had plenty of clams. Also had the crab sandwich which was a disappointment. Came on three tiny French rolls and had very little crab mean. The avocado was more like guacamole.

    Had the 2lb crab. Was a lot of work, but worth it. Enjoyed the meal, and had a great view of the sun setting on Alcatraz. Very good experience overall.

    My review is colored by previous visits, and the dining experience is not the same. I think COVID hit this place pretty hard - it seems like everyone is really trying, but just missing the mark. Our server wasn't particularly communicative, and misinterpreted two requests. The crab dish was great, but the shrimp was served with legs and shells on. Wasn't prepared for that. The branzino was PERFECTLY cooked, but it was very fishy. The bathrooms were not clean, toilet paper piles in the corner of one stall. Food was served quickly, and all the staff checked on us regularly. Hoping things will get better. Will be back next time.

    We had mussels, clams, and crab. Could not have been better. Also loved the bay view. We will be back.

    Amazing views of the Warf. The food and service was great. This would be a great date place to go.
