Le Francesca's Tavola est le 9ème restaurant de la chaîne The Francesca. La chaîne de restaurants The Francesca a été fondée en 1992 par le restaurateur Scott Harris, qui a commencé par ouvrir un restaurant italien petit mais accueillant, le North Clark Street à Chicago. Our server Fabian was wonderful. He was attentive and also found out from the chef that we could order a special salad that we have had in previous visits. The manager was very accommodating to our party. The food was wonderful, especially the risotto. It was a wonderful afternoon for friends.

I have always enjoyed the food here because it is delicious. However, our whole party was disappointed in how we felt the prices did not reflect the meals. A very small Caesar salad was $10.95. The portions were smaller and the prices seem to have gone up. Also, my meal came out incorrectly, but the waiter was receptive to having it fixed. Unfortunately, it took so long to get it replaced that my entire party had finished eating by the time my meal came and had to wait for me to eat. Overall, though, the taste and presentation were great!

We felt rushed through the meal and the restaurant was not busy. Several times the busboy wait staff asked us if they could take our plates. ANd it was Very noisy. Staff dumping dirty dishes in a bin/ very loud. And staff moving whole tables into new spots. Also staff standing around talking and clowning around with each other - distracting. The food was excellent as alway.

Our server (Juan) made our night very special. It is always a pleasure to have a seasoned veteran in the restaurant business who understands how to go above and beyond the average dining experience. The bartender didn’t know how to make an espresso martini. We sent the first one back because it was a chocolate martini. The server brought back the exact same thing and was annoyed when we said we didn’t want it. The food recommendations the server made were not great. The bus boy tried bussing our table three times while we were still eating. We felt very rushed. Instead of ordering entrees, we asked for the check and left. No thanks.

Great meal (one of the better n a while anywhere) with great service. We normally go to Barrington but the ambiance in AH is better.

I usually order pasta when I'm at an Italian restaurant, however when I saw there was a meatball sandwich on the menu - I decided to try it. And it was delicious! It was a very generous french bread type sandwich with 3 huge meatballs and covered with the most delicious cheese. Great service as well!
