Food was pretty bad, without flavor and they served us what they wanted, my husband ordered a bone in filet and they brought bone in ribeye and I ordered Calamari and they brought me just that fry calamari plain no veggies or flavor at all

Tomahawk steak was cooked perfect. Asparagus was excellent and mashed potatoes were good maybe a little more salt. Service was awesome. The place was a bit dated and plain looking but still nice.

We went for an early Mother’s Day dinner on the hottest day in SA of 2024. The food was excellent - salad, filet, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, asparagus- all delicious. Only issues, I got scallops with my steak and they were a bit overcooked and needed a sauce. Also, it was warm in the restaurant when we arrived, which I assumed was because it was so hot outside. It kept getter hotter throughout the meal and when we left and walked through the bar I realized the a/c was broken, but it was never addressed by the servers or managers. Granted, we didn’t complain, but an offer to move to the bar where there was a/c would have been nice. The service in general was excellent. Also if you like wine or bourbon their selection is amazing.

Absolutely the best restaurant in San Antonio. The food is perfect and the service equally so. We celebrated my mother’s 83rd birthday and she was surprised just how wonderful everything was! Well done and thank you!

We celebrated our 10th Anniversary at this wonderful restaurant. 10 years ago we went to Flemings on our first date! The food is as great as ever. Great wine selection too! Christian is still working his magic to make everyone feel welcomed!

We took my husband’s sister to Fleming San Antonio. It was her first time and we had an exceptional meal at Flemings in Houston. It was not up to the expectations. The bread was hard and the two spreads were indistinguishable. The NY strip steaks and asparagus were excellent. However, the baked potato was over cooked. The miso glazed sea bass was also cooked too long and charred in some places. Sauce was too sweet and drenched the bed of spinach. The service was excellent. Water glasses were promptly filled. Wait staff were patient and attentive. It’s a pity the quality wasn’t better, especially at these prices.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated with a reservation. Claimed they needed time to make a 5 person table even though the entire room was filled with empty tables. 4 out of 5 meals were cooked correctly. I ordered a medium main filet and it came out so charred you could hardly cut into it. They took it off the bill, but no Manager apology or anything else for a $500+.

Fleming’s generally knocks it outta the park. So, it’s still one of my favorite restaurants. This particular visit had a few issues. Extremely slow cocktails. And steak temps had to be adjusted - then perfect.

Food was adequate but new york strip was tougher than a usual NY strip. Flemings potatoes are great. Service was a little slow so maybe a Saturday eve is not a good time to go. If you’re thirsty, you’ll wait for water, tea and bar refills.
