The blackened chicken sandwich was wonderful. We also tried the salmon rice bowl. One of us thought it was delicious and I thought it was slightly dry but with good flavor. Will definitely be going back again, very good quality and service.

Music is way too loud, even with just two of us we had to halfway scream to be heard. You end up hoarse after you leave. But I do love this food so I do come back, but I really wish they would turn it down. The more people have to yell the louder it gets in there.

We had brunch. Great food and great service. We were in the side room. Less noisy, but too many tables crammed together. Felt sorry for the waiters.

Our experience at 5 West was very good. Our daughter asked for marinara sauce on a margherita flatbread and it was no problem making that substitution for the usual pesto, she really enjoyed it. My wife ate a salad and I had chicken tacos, we were both pleased with our meal. Had the decadently rich chocolate chippers for dessert, also a hit for all three of us. The woman who waited on us was attentive without being obtrusive.

The food was delicious and served exactly as ordered. It was seasoned well and hot. The coffee was great, but we never had enough. Our waitress came over to top us off, but we were empty. It was nearly impossible to get more coffee. Why don’t they just leave a pot of it for us? Very frustrating and often I had nothing to drink for my meal. Very loud and hard to even hear the people setting right next to me.

Five West has the best brunch in Rochester. We have always had excellent food there. The veggie scramble is delicious and highly recommended. The hand cut garlic fries are also incredible. We often get the cheesecake as well, which is definitely a treat. The service at Five West is also fantastic, Aaron, Kim, Jackie, Colleen, and Chloe are exceptional! We are very appreciative!

Absolutely love this place to meet friends and family from Minnesota. We live in Onalaska, WI so it's about 1/2 way for all of us. Wait staff is amazing as is the food. One thing I am not sure about is paying for the health and wellness of staff on my check.....I think that is something the owner offers and pays for with their employees.

It was freezing cold in the resturant. Had to dine with coats on. It was around 32 degrees outside. Not one of our below zero days. The garage doors were not great to sit next too.

As connoisseurs of the French fries, the hand cut garlic fries are extraordinary. The veggie scramble is absolutely incredible, and as always Five West has the best servers in Rochester!

Food was great….service was great, but the 2% add onto the bill paid with by American Express for” employee wellness” was a sneaky BS move in my opinion….raise your prices if you need to but sneaking it in without telling me results in me never returning. And yes, it was only $.87 and I have that, it is the principle.

Five West is the best place to celebrate. The food is amazing (we favor the Salmon Rice Bowl), there is excellent wine, and desserts are delicious. The service is excellent as is the ambience. Five West is our go-to place for celebrations.

Amazing dinner at one of our favorites. Cranberry Crush Margarita is a winner. Flank Steak Salad and Salmon Tuscan Penne are great. Sides of Szechuan Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts are not to be forgotten. Topped off with Seasonal Cheesecake to go, not just any dessert, the Pastry Chef is out of this world.
