Découvrez la beauté de l'océan Pacifique alliée à une expérience culinaire de classe mondiale dans la rue historique de Cannery Row, à quelques minutes de marche de l'aquarium de Monterey Bay. Récemment rénové, le restaurant Fish Hopper occupe une ancienne conserverie de sardines et offre une vue spectaculaire sur la magnifique baie de Monterey depuis chacune de ses tables ainsi que de sa terrasse chauffée. Il est spécialisé dans les fruits de mer frais de pêches durables, le bœuf Angus certifié, les pâtes et les coquillages vivants. Ses fruits de mer frais proviennent normalement de la pêche locale. Ses produits sont cultivés localement, dans la vallée de Salinas. L'ormeau de Monterey Bay, le flétan en croûte de macadamisa, le fameux faux-filet non désossé Tomahawk Chop ou le crabe de Dungeness frais sont quelques-uns de ses plats les plus populaires. Fish was under seasoned and lacked enough flavor. Vegetables were undercooked for my taste. Hostess and server were terrific. The view from our table was extraordinary. Dessert was ok.

Shaniya was our server and she was so nice and attentive! My husband had the surf & turf, I had the Parmesan chicken and clam chowder soup. Everything was delicious! We wanted a place that had more of casual setting since we were just getting into town from a long road trip and this was the perfect spot! The food did not disappoint, the views were beautiful and the staff did a great job!

I enjoyed my Mother's Day early dinner at the Fish Hopper. I ordered the crusted Halibut and it was delicious. I ordered a berry spritzer that was very refreshing and light. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive, caring and knew the menu very well. We didn't have to wait for anything and he was always around anticipating our needs. The views were pretty nice as well. I will be coming back and trying different items from the menu.

Server, forgot to bring us bread, we order clam chowder, my husband ask for salty cookies for the soup, server told us they didn’t have no salty cookies, only bread, brought soup and other appetizers, bread never got to the table, my husband saw the table next to us after taking drinks order they brought bread, when out server came, my husband ask him, how come we didn’t get bread, he simply answered I forgot We pay almost 500, how can a server forget bread

Busy Saturday. Lots of families with kids. O be expected. We felt a little rushed to finish our meal. But we were done and our food was good.

The place is a bit shabby, they should make it a bit nicer and clean it better. After all guests are paying hundreds of dollars to eat there. The portion sizes are ok, the food is just ok.

Had lunch and I had lobster Risotto. It was delicious. My husband and daughter had steaks that were cooked to perfection. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Dessert was very delicious. Definitely recommend!

The view on the water from Fish Hopper is amazing. Nice to watch the sun set as well. The menu is extensive and the quality is good. We enjoyed seafood cioppino, linguini with clams, prawns scampi, clam chowder, Caesar salad, and ending with bread pudding and key lime pie. Wait staff good and an enjoyable experience.

The ocean view is really what we paid for. As far as the food goes, the clam chowder was too thick (congealing) and salty and left me surprised how uninspiring it was given it’s a nice seafood restaurant. The rest of the food was good but at tourist trap prices.

Window sight is the main attraction of this place. Food and service was good. What we didn't like was the noise and ambience. Too crowded, too noisy. But of course it all depends on the mood, if you just want to eat tasty food and enjoy the sights of otters or a sunset through the window, it's a very good place anyway.

The food was a major disappointment considering the cost. Lobster wasn't cooked properly, filet mignon was bland. The manager asked about how food was, and did take off 20% so that was nice. The waiter himself was not good, but manager was great! The view and location is fantastic but super disappointed with food.

I was looking for a place with a great view over the water with a gluten free menu. This place fit the bill so I made a reservation. Unfortunately, it’s just not our kind of place - too touristy, service is good but feels fake. Food just ok, not great. But the view was fantastic

Three things great about this restaurant - Location, location, location. Cuisine is passing. Service is fine. But the view from one of the tables against the windows is fantastic.

The best surf n turf I’ve had in awhile! Steak was cooked perfectly, and the view of otters and sea lions were entertaining. Service was great and friendly. We will eat here every time we’re in Monterey.
