The food was mediocre at best. Completely bland and flavorless. We have eaten there once before and remember it being good enough to come back. For what we paid for a family of four, it was extremely disappointing. The server was really nice, so we didn’t complain. We won’t be going back though.

I met two friends for breakfast, and we each ordered separately. Our server was excellent, our food was brought promptly, and the ambience allowed us to chat comfortably and hear each other…a rare experience these days!

Prime Rib served over cooked. No Hollandaise available for asparagus. Great prompt, friendly service. Food preparation was a significant black mark on what was an otherwise nice dining experience.

Wonderful wine list, great cocktails. Wooden decor made for a warm and inviting ambience. Interested in local favorites, I started with a delicious wild rice and mushroom soup accompanied by grilled bread. My entree was a corn-crusted walleye (named for a light dusting of corn flour which make it delicious but not greasy) which was sourced from the nearby Red Lakes reservation. The walleye was served on a bed of succotash which was colorful and flavorful, topped by grilled asparagus. The remoulade was a perfect complement to the entree. My server was warm and gracious, quite knowledgeable about the dishes and explaining them perfectly. Highly recommend!

Food was decent but service & table prep was poor. Our table (2 top) had brown ring stain on table, likely from coffee pot, and one of our water glasses had lipstick on it. Noted both to waiter who switched out with table next to us. Next issue was delay in waiter checking in, we finished our drink with appetizers, about 13 minutes went by and no waiter attention. Our meals arrived, still no drinks, and when waiter showed up soon after the meals arraigned, we ordered two glasses of Cabernet wine. It was well over 10 minutes before our wine arrived and we were over 3/4’s done with our meal. The final comment is with the host as we were leaving, and we wanted to get our parking pass validated. It seems he was handling carry out orders, which is ok, but he could’ve recognized me our given me any type of acknowledgement as I stood for over 10 minutes. A young women stepped in front of me as he was hanging up with the carry out call, and he didn’t even know who arrived first, took care of her. I do not want any follow up, but felt it was important to let you know about the lipstick, table stain, lack of getting any ask to order drinks (and eating out meal with no wine). It only seems right to let people know why they lost business. Thanks.
