Food was good and reasonable priced. I was caught by surprise as a cash only venue. Had to scramble for cash to pay a $350 bill.

Very small cute cafe. The menu has great sounding options however our food was bland and dry. Paninis has no oils or sauces to moisten the dry bread & the chicken was dry. Eggs Benedict had overcooked eggs and dry as well. Pasta & omelettes were good. Owner did seemed to be taking care of all tables herself & was pleasant. Also, this is cash only restaurant which we were not aware of.

This place was great for a weekday lunch catch up with a friend. Most of the people there were not young and looked like regulars, so it was relaxed and relatively quiet, like a pre-phone 90s vibe with real people, such a treat. Our server - I think she was the only one - was such a pro and very attentive despite being busy. A large group of young people came in towards the end of our meal, and instantly had their phones blaring tik toks and speaking at the top of their lungs, oblivious as always. But the place is a real gem.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the city with very Italian (sitting in Italy) feel. Thank you for your hospitality and food.

Had a good time but would not repeat/recommend. Food was tasty, but service and ambiance were not as great. I went straight to OpenTable but we should have just walked around as there are many beautiful and delicious places around.

Food options, quality of the dishes ordered, portion size were excellent. They only take cash payment so it can be a bother for many today who don’t carry enough cash. However, the prices make up for the cash situation. Good prices and well made Italian dishes.

Cuisine at Fiat Cafe is so good you can overlook some lacks in the ambiance -- it's a tiny place with no air conditioning the hot night I visited. Tricolore salad featured generous portions of parmigiano reggiano cheese, crisp arugula, endive and raddichio. Salmon carpaccio was extraordinary, soft, buttery, topped with great mounds of arugula and truffle oil. To finish, a flavorful coffee panna cotta -- most unusual and very delicious. I recommend Fiat Cafe if you're looking for very good food at a fair price, without fancy decor. Diner beware: this place is cash only, no cards. Fortunately, there is an ATM nearby.

A wonderful restaurant for authentic Italian food with plenty of options. The eggplant parmesan was amazing, and I've never even been a fan of eggplants! Our waiter was incredibly nice and checked in quite frequently to ensure that we were enjoying our experience. The two drawbacks were realizing that the restaurant was cash-only, and the lack of air circulation in the cafe. However, the environment was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant was fun to look around and observe the different decorations.

This was the perfect Sunday morning breakfast date after a night out on the town. We felt like we were entering a small local cafe in Italy from the moment we arrived. The waitress, Anna, was extremely friendly and kind. The service was excellent. The decor was simple but eclectic at the same time. Our food and coffee were delicious. We both ordered omelettes - they were fresh, fluffy, and big, served with a beautiful, light vinaigrette salad on the side. We had iced lattes which we later took to go- again, we were transported to Italy. Thank you Anna for the wonderful breakfast. We will make our way back to Fiat Cafe soon!

The service was great it is a cute little place. My friends who had sandwiches said they were good, unfortunately the pasta left something to be desired. It is a great place for casual dining but I would get a sandwich.

Food was definitely good but my eggplant was a little under cooked. Overall a great experience. My wife's chicken was good. The spaghetti and meatballs were good as well. The ambiance and quaint setting are worth a visit.

I used to love this place! Always great cozy hideway and find when in nyc, w classic Simple Italian food and wine; made you feel like you were somewhere in Milan or Rome It was always the place we liked to duck in when cold and windy outside for a delicious Bowl of pasta, glass of red wine, and tricolore salad. Or in the summer to get out of the heat and drinking Prosecco or Pinot Grigio instead of red. This time was only fair and some of it was undercooked and clumped together. Tricolore salad had no visible or tastable dressing on it; had to ask for 2 servings of vinaigrette to create any flavor w limp salad greens Music was loud and Motown Service was very friendly and accommodating and trying to do and give their best
