They took my reservation and were not open . I called and left a message and they did not have decency to get back to me. It was a special occasion and I am disgusted with them.

After waiting 20 minutes to receive a beverage after ordering it, we finally got a pitcher of some type of beer but wasn’t the whalers we ordered. Then correct pitcher finally came after we addressed it. Main course was brought out and our nachos we ordered for an app never made an appearance. Place seemed like they were lacking a lot of help even though it wasn’t too busy. Waitress bought us a round of shots to make up for the service. Willing to go back and try again due to the food slapping.

The food was incredible!! The oysters were fresh and briny. The tacos were to die for!! We ordered a second round after we devoured the first. The wings were great,a little small but delicious. The server was running around like crazy, so it was not her fault that it took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive and almost 45 for the food to arrive. She was pleasant and apologetic for the wait. The energy was loud and fun, so if you are looking for a quiet spot to talk and nosh, go next door to the sister restaurant. Now, as for the price... insane, and by that I mean insanely amazing!! We will be back to order from the Appy Hour menu again.... psst. we drove 2 1/2 hours to visit Providence and will be making this place our go-to spot. :)

We specifically came to the Taphouse for the “buck a shuk” as advertised on this app. We were informed by the waitress that the special ended at 6pm by but Open Table app said 9:30pm. Disappointing…
